There are plenty of local transportation lines which connect this area with all parts of the city.
But the advantage of this location is that you can walk around, it is in the Old Lower Town and only 15 min walking distance from the Cathedral and main square Trg Ban Jelacic.
From tram station "Kvaternikov Trg" to tram station "Britanski Trg" - see map of the central town area, you can easily walk and enjoy sightseeing and discovering the old city Lower Town.
As there are only 2 bus stops with public transport to city financial center on Vukovarska street where are lot of office towers, this location is also favorable and convenient for the business trips.
You will enjoy also the pleasant neighborhood. You have a famous market „Kvatrich“ with plenty of local food products just around a corner. There are also plenty of restaurants, pizzerias, small shops and coffee bars and several night clubs for young people only few steps away. There is also the cinema 15 min walking distance. If you are interesting in exhibitions Croatian Association of Fine Arts (HDLU) is 10 min walking in the famous building designed by the Croatian artist Ivan Mestrovic. The stadium Dinamo (lot of concerts happening during spring and summer) is 10 min by tram. The most important and one of the biggest park in Europe - Maksimir is only 10 minutes by tram. In that park is also the Zoo.
If you are coming by car consider that there is a public garage near – on the crossing with the next street - 2 min walking distance.

We were very happy with this appartment, very clean, nice location, friendly and flexible owner. Everybody who's searching a place near the city center, you found it!
Little negative point: You can see straight into the shower and bathroom from the gangway, not ideal for two friends :D
But still, this is the only bad thing I can say, thanks for the nice stay in this wonderfull city -

L'appartement de Svet est très bien situé dans la ville de Zagreb, à deux pas d'une place regroupant de nombreux arrêts Tram.
De plus, le logement est spacieux, lumineux et décoré de façon contemporaine. Nous avons trouvé pratique qu'il soit équipé d'une grande table à manger, d'un réfrigérateur et d'une plaque de cuisson.
Les points qui nous ont cependant un peu gêné sont les parois vitrées entre la salle de bain et le couloir. La fille de notre groupe fut embêtée par ce manque d'intimité.
Ce fut globalement une bon séjour. -

Svet was very welcoming to her apartment and gave us lots of tips on how to get the best out of our few days in Zagreb, she even lent us a phone to contact her if needed. The apartment was in a lovely quiet street within easy walking distance of the city attractions. The apartment was quite roomy with a great atmosphere and every convenience we required. I would highly recommend this apartment which was excellent value for money.

We only stayed in this flat for a few days but it was exactly what we were hoping for. It was more spacious than we were expecting and the bed was very comfortable. The location of the flat was perfect, close to the city but in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The market and caffes just around the corner were a great way to spend our mornings and evenings. I would certainly recommend staying here while in Zagreb

The apartment was pretty amazing and exceeded our expectations.It looks much better than the pictures shown by the web site.Clean,comfortable,modern design and wireless internet are only few advantages.Nice neighbrhood and close to everything.Friendly,helpfull and easy to reach at any time landlady.It was a pleasure to stay there. Would be nice a longer stay and we will definitely come again to the same apartment.

Nous sommes une famille de 5 et nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'appartement et la gentillesse de Svet. Elle nous aidé à découvrir la belle ville de Zagreb et nous avons passé 2 belles journées dans son appartement calme et très bien décoré.
Sa localisation est parfaite pour visiter la vieille ville de Zagreb et le parc Maksimir.

My stay at Svet's loft made for a perfect trip to Croatia. It is not only clean with all of the essential amenities but also a beautifully designed place to call home during any visit. It is located within a short walk to all of the sites yet still in a quiet and safe neighborhood. If you should stay at this great apartment, you won't regret it.

Great apartment a 15 minute walk from the centre of the city. Great restaurants and market in the neighbourhood. Easy connections to public transit. The apartment itself, is fantastic. It is very spacious and well appointed. We were only there for a weekend but would be easy to stay for much longer.

It was a great stay and we will come back again!
Svet was very friendly and really helpful.
The location is excellent being easy access to shopping and public transport and the apartment's interior was absolutely fantastic, clean and with a little balcony! Everything is just as it appears on the website. Bathroom was fine. Kitchen is great with lots of space and everthing needed to cook/eat meals is provided
Only difficulty was finding a cheap parking ground. -

I've stayed in Da Svet Kvatrich Boutique apartment Zagreb with my husband for 5days in april. We absolutely loved it!!! First of all, the hostess, Ms. Svet was very very friendly and helpful. She recommended us some great places in Zagreb that we should visit and see, and lent Lonely Planet Croatia. This apartment has really good location for tripper. Just a couple of minutes to walk to morning market, and took 10minutes to go city by tram. Tram station from apartment can be reached just 2minute on foot. The apartment's interior was absolutely fantastic, filled with oriental style stuffs. It's clean and peaceful as well. If you stay in this apartment, I really recommend to feel smooth winds and the sound of singing birds at lovely terrace.
