The apartment also benefits from views of the mountains and is conveniently situated just 250 metres from the main ski lift and 70 metres from the local chairlift. It is therefore the perfect choice for both winter and summer holidays alike, due to its close proximity to all that Zell has to offer. The railway station, bars, re...staurants and activities are just a few minutes walk away. Year round, guests can enjoy a host of activities, from skiing on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, to kayaking or sailing on the crystal clear lake.

Our holiday apartments are all in the centre of the beautiful lakeside, all year round resort of Zell am See, just 1 hour from Salzburg Airport. Zell am See really does have it all; beautiful scenery, sun, snow, lakes mountains, and tourists get a very warm welcome. There is plenty to do both in summer and winter and it won't cost the earth, with food, drink and transport of a very high quality and a fair bit cheaper than in the UK. The climate is one of extremes, but of course depends on altitude. In summer, in the alpine valleys it can be very hot, and the water temperature in the alpine lakes can reach 24 degrees, which is very pleasant for swimming and a host of water sports. From April through to October you can enjoy weather far better than in the UK! By late October, however, up on the higher mountain tops, the snow starts to fall in preparation for the long ski season.

There are a host of things to do in this outdoor persuits paradise with all year round skiing, walking, biking, climbing, white water rafting, horseriding etc all very easily accessible. However, it's not just for the ultra active types, there are plenty of great tourist attractions to visit including castles, caves, waterfalls, glaciers, gorges and beautiful old towns. The lakes also cater for families who like a seaside holiday with great lakeside bathing facilities and children are very well catered for with flumes and funparks. The resort also has its own top class golf course, gliding, paragliding and flying school, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a championship ice rink.

  The furniture of the apartment little care. The apartment is located in a building in the edge of town, very unkempt and dirty and nasty hall.
  There is no possibility of free parking nearby.
  When booking, the owner demanded a deposit of 150 €, which should be reimbursed at the end of the stay if the property had no damage. So far I have failed to be returned to me the 150 € deposit, despite having repeatedly claimed.
  My advice is to not give any bond or included as an extra cost of rent, since it seems that the owners are nothing serious.
