Chalet Shalimar is not just another chalet in Zermatt: it is one of the top properties in the resort and can sleep 4 to 20 people in 4 separate apartments. It is catered and serviced in winter but is available self-catered in the summer
All 4 apartments have unsurpassed views of that commanding of mountains, the Matterhorn
The chalet lies in the lovely area of Winkelmatten on the outskirts of the village where the old chapel dates back to the 17th century and the old sheep barns are burnt black by the strong Valais sun.

Wir wurden am Bahnhof bereits von Pauline, unserer charmanten Gastgeberin, erwartet.
Nach anfahrt im Elektro- Taxi waren wir von Beginn an ueberwaeltigt; sowohl von der Lage mit dem Matterhorn direkt vor der Nase, als auch von der in allen Belangen Top- Ausstattung der Villa. Der komplette Wohnbereich in arvenholz mit Wohnzimmer mit Cheminée, Tv-zimmer/Bibliothek mit Soundanlage und WiFi.
Kueche mit Induktion, Steamer, kurz allem, inklusive Wein- Kühlschrank.
Vor allem nach einer langen Wanderung am Sonntag, bei der uns Pauline unbekannte aussichten aufs Matterhorn verraten hat, haben wir den Wellness-Bereich mit Pool sehr genossen. Alles ist Top-Gepflegt. Das Nachtessen mit Catering auf der eigenen grossen Terrasse unter Freunden war ein weiters Highlight eines unvergesslichen aufenthaltes. Danke an Pauline und das Team von Zermatt Holidays.
