Punta Marina is a small (14 unit) condominium complex on Playa La Ropa. Our Tesoro@PuntaMarina (Treasure at Punta Marina) is 2000 Sq. FT and on one level, It offers 3 spacious bedrooms, each with its own private shower and bathroom as well as individual quiet central AC's and ceiling as well as standing fans. A 1/2 bath is located off of the main corridor leading to the bedrooms, The master bedroom offers a spectacular bay-view and is accessible from the large terrace. We are on Playa La Ropa. 10 minute taxi ride from the airpor, .5 minutes walk from the beach, 10 minutes from El Centro. There are several fine restaurants within a few minutes walk.
Many inexpensive choices for transportation including a local jitney bus and taxis.

The Brouwers condo was a fantastic place to spend our vacation. The condo is well equipped and the view was spectacular. Panaramic view of the mountains, town and the bay. We spent most of our time on the large terrace enjoying the view and the ocean breeze. We had 3 couples and there was plenty of room to feel comfortable. We enjoyed the kitchen to make some meals and the beds were very comfortable. The walk to the beach is 5 minutes. The walk back takes a little longer. This was a good way to burn off the food and drinks from the day at the beach. The beautiful pool is very refreshing once you reach the condo. If you choose to take a taxi, they charge between 20 to 40 pesos from La Ropa. The bus is also an option. The maid Dulce is very sweet and did a great job cleaning midway through our stay. Upon our arrival, 1 a/c unit was not working real well and Hans had it promptly repaired. Hans also went above and beyond our expectations. A cell phone was mistakingly left behind in 1 of the bedrooms and Hans and angie drove to the airport to find our group and return the phone. We were not even aware the phone was left behind and appreciate the extra effort they went through to return it. Thank you Hans and angie! We highly recommend Tesoro @ Punta Marina.

We rented this property for 12 days over the Christmas holidays. We were 6 adults and 2 small children. The condo met all of our needs. The condo is located on the hill above the beach with a spectacular view!
We really enjoyed Zihuatenejo! We liked sharing the beach with Mexican families. Everyone was very friendly. We enjoyed the food but were a bit surprised at how few restaurants were open in the evening within walking distance of the condo. The restaurant across the road from the condo and the mini bio park are highly recommended.

This condo was the perfect setting for a fantastic week. Quaint and yet modern without being too flashy. All the amenities including an iPod dock. Tv's in every rooom but they are a waste as you will never use them. Airconditioned, but the unit was ventilated so well that we rarely used it so the waves could lull us to sleep.
Stunning views of the bay and downtown. Great access to La Ropa Beach (5 Minutes). A wonderful restaurant right next door.
Prepare to get fleeced by the taxi's at the airport ($35-40us) but a $40-50 peso ($5us) cab ride just about anywhere you want to go.
Will definetly be going back. -

With a view that you can't stop admiring, no matter what time of the day or night you glance up...this spacious well-equipped condo has all the amenities of home... and then some!
Taxi service 3-5 minutes, from a phone call, away. Buses nearby.
Hans is a fabulous host, dealing with questions and concerns quickly and efficiently.
Ability to pay by credit card makes it all the more hassle-free. -

We had a tremendous experience in Zihuatanejo. The condo and view are even nicer than the picutures promised. Sitting on the verandah overlooking the bay whether day or night, with a cool adult beverage, is my idea of heaven!
Owners Hans and angie checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was fine and that we were enjoying ourselves. They even invited us up to their beachfront retreat in Trancones for a beautiful day in the surf and sand.
The location in Zihua is ideal for views and a quick five minute walk down the path to La Ropa beach to a variety of beach front restaurants and activities. We rented a car and regularly made the 10 minute drive to town, to the grocery store and even over to Ixtapa with ease. We also tried dozens of the areas great restaurants all around town
Staying in this condo rather than a hotel makes you feel more connected to the location and after thoroughly enjoying many vacations in Puerto Vallarta, I know Zihuatanejo is now our favorite Mexican vacation destination. We can't wait to return -

El lugar es increible, soñado. La vista a la bahía más expectacular, donde pudimos disfrutar los colores vívidos que nos regala cada momento del día.. Encontramos mucho más de lo que esperábamos: un espacio limpiio y fresco entre el mar, la selva y el cielo.

My family and I were very satisfied with the Brouwers' condominium in Zihuatanejo. It was very well situated just above the beautiful "La Ropa" beach and had a spectacular view of the bay, looking toward the town. It is certainly not in the "centre of all the action", but for people looking for a quieter location it is ideal. The condo itself was very spacious (it would have accomodated a couple of families) and had huge deck to make the most of the view. My wife was particularly impressed with how well equipped the unit was and the Brouwers went out of their way to ensure that all our needs were met. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience and my wife and I agreed that we would certainly go back again.

Renting this condo on La Ropa beach was a great success. From the ease of
making the reservations with our credit card, to the stay at this wonderful and
spacious condo close to the beach with easy access to transportation to town,
we could not have asked for more. The condo's 2000 sq. ft living area has just
been renovated. The large balcony has a magical view of the bay and town.
The condo is very well appointed. The modern kitchen had everything we
needed. We appreciated that each of the three spacious bedrooms had its own
private bathroom and shower. Two of them had cable television. The internet
connection worked flawlessly. The entertainment area (DVD,CD, cable TV) in
the main living area was complete and modern. We did not miss any of our
favorite television programs! The large, clean swimming pool provided
enjoyment for all. Hans and Angie were great hosts and the on-site
management staff took care of our needs in a timely manner. We plan to
return soon and recommend it highly.

This condo was everything that we were told and more. The view has to be seen in person to truly appreciate it, day or night. Total privacy, quiet, spacious, clean and convenient to downtown Zihau. Ideal for a family or 3 couples sharing.
There were 3 bedrooms all with A/C, the kitchen was fully equipped and the living room has a TV/DVD complete with movies. Satellite TV in the master bedroom as well.
The master bedroom accesses the immense balcony and the hot tub which is also located on the balcony. This would be a great spot for entertaining or parties. Two tables are on the balcony with a bar that has access to the kitchen through a large window.
It is about a 30 minute walk down the beach to downtown or a 5 min cab ride. We never took a cab but there are plenty around especially if you walk down the hill to the road along the beach. The 5 minute walk to the beach also gives you access to excellent restaurants for any meal of the day. Try Rossy's on the beach for a great fillet of fish dinner and a jumbo margarita.
The condo is easy to find and has a parking spot right by the rear gate. The only negative aspect is the steep hill into the parking area but it is easy to get in as long as you trust your brakes.

We would like to add, that if the steep hill is a problem, then one can use the parking area below, but that requires going up some steps, whereas the parking area down the steep hill is right outside the front door.
