Reservations & Confirmations
50% deposit is due within 8 days of the initial request to hold the reservation. Balance is due 45 days prior to your arrival. Full payment is required for reservations made less than 45 days before arrival. Rates are guaranteed when the deposit is received. Please use pricing on my website as it is updated frequently.

Payment is by personal check , direct deposit, or Credit Card. For ALL Credit Card payments, there will be an additional 3% surcharge..
Rental Policies
Normally rentals are Saturday to Saturday but we do make exceptions at times. Check-in time is 3 pm; check-out time is 11:00 am. For late afternoon departures, you may store your luggage securely in our office area, as housekeeping prepares our condo for the next guests. You are welcomed to use the outdoor shower and bathroom by the pools, should you have that last sandy walk on the beach.
Cancellations
Due to difficulty of re-renting a canceled time segment, rates are non-refundable. For this reason, we suggest trip insurance which may be purchased online (relatively inexpensively). (Good for emergency cancellations due to unexpected circumstances). Also many of these Trip Insurance programs also include emergency medical care such as Medevac. Should you need to cancel, Mollie may be able to give you a credit toward a future trip. I am sorry, but no refunds for no shows or early departure.

I have to write again about Casa Romantica and Mollie. This was our 4th trip to Zihuatanejo and we were once again happier than ever. Casa Romatica is now home to us. A home that is unsurpassed, luxurious and heavenly. Once again Mollie made us feel at home, like her home was our home. She never misses on making us feel valued and her kindness is limitless. We had reservations in June and had to cancel the day prior to leaving because I came down with pneumonia. Thinking our trip was lost we notified Mollie. She was more concerned about my health than any money. She told us that we could reschedule. We were able to do just that and ended up going in July. Mollie could have just kept our money and said sorry but instead she charged us nothing extra and just let us reschedule. The views from casa Romantica are breath taking. Literally, you see the ocean from your bed when you wake in the morning. The condo has ever convenience you can think of and Mollie has a book of information on all the local restaurants and activities. She even has a Vonage phone so we could call home to the kids free of charge. If you have a chance to make an escape from everyday life go here. You'll feel spoiled.

the condo had everything, and I mean everything you would need.
the view was, the only way to enjoy the beautiful days we spend on the outdoor area.
people in the complex were very friendly and always willing to help.
the down town was within walking distance, a little hilly, but the exercise was good for us.

My husband and I were lucky enough to book into Casa Romantica for our second year. The casa is absolutely beautiful and there's nothing that you could want for. The master bedroom opens up onto the best views of Zihua Bay, and although the waves are 1/4 mile or so away, it sounds like you're on the beach. The service is perfect, the pools super clean. It's a short (but steep) walk to the beach, but transportation is available ongoing for either a cab ($3.50 us) or the bus ($ .60). The town is safe. There's not a lot of loud music in town--it's more of a relaxing area with great beach restaurants. Xtapa is about 5 miles is you're looking for more americanized malls, restaurants, and hotels, but you'll feel the difference between the two towns immediately. Zihua is the real deal. I will go back to Casa Romantica again without a doubt

I almost hate to write this review as it might mean that Casa Romantica will be already booked when I go to book it next time but I feel that others will definitely want to have a dream vacation too!
My husband and I have been taking 3-4 week holidays to Mexico, Guatemala, and Costa Rica for many years. We always stay in condos so I feel I have a very good overview of what is available. From each one, I keep building my list of what I liked and what I would prefer to be different. This condo had it all. I will give you as many details so you can decide for yourself. I have learned over the years of talking about travels that what is important to one person is not important to someone else.
1. The view was stunning, breathtaking, fabulous, spectacular! We watched the sun set from our deck every single night.
2. The deck. Huge. This is important to us as we spend as much time outdoors as possible. There were 3 comfortable places to sit. So much so that many times we didn't move from the deck until 11 am. Really, we could have sat there all day, reading a book and looking out at the views. There was also a good amount of privacy on your deck. High enough up so that the people at the pool weren't looking at you and positioned so that people on other decks weren't looking in at you.
3.Well appointed kitchen. Granite counter tops, huge fridge, microwave, stove, and everything we needed to cook. There was even a coffee grinder. We have been in some places where they don't have wine glasses or margarita glasses or a blender or something is usually missing and there wasn't. Not that you need to cook with so many fabulous restaurants to choose from.
4. Mollie, the owner was a gem to work with. She went out of her way to make sure that our trip went smoothly and that we had everything we needed. When I emailed her and said that the coffee maker was running exceptionally slow and the teflon fry pan was loosing its teflon, she had both replaced for us that very same day! Now that is service with a smile.
5. There is a tv in the bedroom, in the living room and in the guest room. Yes, it is a two bedroom and there was only the two of us. She even has a complete library of Dvd's to choose from. We aren't partiers and after a full day at the beach, it was nice to have the choice to watch a couple of movies.There is also satellite tv and an Ipod docking station.
6. Not only was there wireless internet connection, if you didn't want to bring your own laptop, one was provided for you. That was so convenient for us. Also, free long distance calls to the us or Canada. That is normally a huge problem in Mexico which we get around by using skype, but this time we didn't have to bother, just pick up the phone and dial.
7. Two infinity pools. We spent a lot of time at the pool because the view from the pool deck is just as spectacular as the view from the condo. There are comfortable loungers and umbrellas. Always a space to relax. No loud music. Friendly people. Bathrooms. No one getting out at 7 am to reserve their chairs. Pools were a very nice temperature.
8. This is not a negative to us, as it kept us in shape and also wore off all those margaritas we consumed, but there is a lot of stairs to climb from the road up to your door. It can't be helped. The best views are from high up remember. The only reason I mention this is that if you have problems with stairs, I wouldn't advise staying at this condo block, La Casa Que Ve al Mar.
9. Location. It is overlooking La Ropa beach so it is a short walk to it (big climb back up). Read my review of La Ropa beach and you will know this is a big plus. Beautiful beach!
10. The staff that work here do whatever they can to make your stay more comfortable. And the grounds are superbly maintained.
I could keep going on and on, but I think you get the drift. I really can't think of one negative. When you go to the owners site, you can believe everything that is written there.

My husband and I stayed at Casa Romantica for part of our honeymoon. As first-timers to the Zihua area, this condo was the perfect place to call home. With a beautiful view, sprawling balcony, comfortable areas, and a great kitchen to cook, we truly enjoyed our time. Mollie was wonderful to work with, and we would both love to stay here again. We just returned from our sixth stay at La Casa Que Ve al Mar, we were fortunate enough to rent our favorite condo "Casa Romantica".
Since our last visit Mollie has changed the color of the cushions and added a new painting, it was perfect before, now it is even more beautiful. This condo has all the amenities of home, beautiful master suite with king bed and an unbelievable view of the bay from the over size deck. The condo is only a 10 minute walk to the beach, if you do not want to walk back up the hill, there are always taxis at the beach which are very reasonable.
Zihuatanejo,is a very safe town, in our six trips to Zihua we have never had a problem. If you are into fishing, Carl always fishes with the Vargas family, when you catch Dorado or Tuna you can always take the fish to any of the wonderful restaurants and they will prepare it for you for a few pesos. Of course, catching a sail or a marlin is always a thrill and it is suggested you practive catch & release. Other than fishing, there is parasailing, catamarans and in Ixtapa 15 minutes away you can swim with the dolphins. Any of these activities can be arranged for you with Elezeir, the conceirge, he is wonderful and is always to available to assist you.
After a day of activities, you then return to this beautiful condo and your choice of the two pools. You will never be disappointed staying at Casa Romantica and like us can not wait to return.Response from Casa Romantica Zihua Perfection - 01/25/2012

We were welcomed to Casa Romantica by a wonderful property manager who showed us around the condo. Also waiting for us was a beautiful floral arrangement and a bottle of champagne to welcome us for our honeymoon stay. The condo views are just like those shown. The condo is filled with the conveniences of home including well stocked kitchen and Dvds, books, magazines. There is wireless internet and the ability to call our families on Xmas day with the phone that was supplied was an added bonus. The daily maid service was unobtrusive. The pool never had more than a few people in in at a time and the walk down to the beach to sit was less than 10 minutes and a good work out going to and from the beach. We travel to Mexico often and would definitely return to the location and this condo. Given all the safety concerns that are currently in the press, we can tell you we did not feel unsafe or uneasy in our surroundings at any time during our stay. The weather, the hospitality of the owner, and our stay could not have been better. We can't wait to return as we made numerous friends during our stay that also vacation there on a regular basis and/or own homes in the area.

My partner and I stayed here late March 2011. Casa Romantica was the condo of our dreams. After 7 days, we still couldn't believe the view. We loved having breakfast on the balcony and reading there in the late afternoon. The weather was perfect and we so appreciated the ocean breezes, augmented by the ceiling fans. We used the air con only the first night. It was lovely to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean.
Casa Romantica was absolutely amazing. The property is very well situated above Playa Ropa, with beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. It is far enough away from the beach and other properties to be perfectly quiet. It's a short, if somewhat steep, walk between the beach and the condo, but we didn't mind the exercise.
The best part of the condo is the balcony across the entire front. We kept the glass doors open nearly all the time, and thoroughly enjoyed the indoor/outdoor living. No one can see into the condo from the pool or common areas, so it's very private-we often felt that we were in a world of our own. Despite facing west (?), the condo stayed reasonably cool with ceiling fans in every room and on the balconies.
The condo is well-appointed. The bed in the master bedroom was surprisingly comfortable (we love our bed at home so much that we are rarely satisfied with the beds when we travel!). We didn't make use of the 2nd bedroom, but it was nice to have a 2nd bathroom. We took advantage of the kitchen and made several meals and snacks (and margaritas). It was convenient to have the filter on the kitchen tap, as well as the jug of purified water; also the dishwasher and washer/dryer. It felt like home, and we could easily imagine settling in for more than a week.
We thoroughly enjoyed the infinity pools on the property (just a couple flights of stairs down from the condo). They were immaculately clean. We spent hours lounging by and in the pools, and especially loved seeing the sunset from there.Response from Casa Romantica Zihua Perfection - 09/08/2011

My son Mark II said it best. Dad this is the best trip ever (again) while he was catching his first sailfish. I take my kids to a different location around the world once or twice a year and right now you rank #1. Your place is fantastic. great view, great location, close to some good restaurants etc. We ate at Il Mare, and the two restaurants that are owned by an Italian. cant remember there names thou. One was right next to Il Mare and the other right up the hill. all three had fantastic food, service and the views were hard to beat. My other son stayed in Jacks condo with his girlfriend, so they were able to enjoy the romantic side of your all's place. Every thing worked out great and the people ( Eli and the guards and cleaning people do a great job.) Zihuat still has the small town charm. Eli set us up one day with Carlos and we spent the day at Troncones so my youngest son aaron could catch some big waves. Worked out great. It was an easy walk down to La Ropa Beach with plenty of activities, such as Stand Up Paddle Boarding,Catamaran sailing etc.. All in all it turned out to be a great memory for me, my sons and company. Dont be surprised if you see my name on your website requesting some open days for rental. Thanks again for all your help. It really made our stay there a lot easier.

My wife and I stayed at Casa Romantica for five nights in July 2010. We chose this condo becuase the price was great. When we got there, the first thing I said was 'I would pay double for this place'. Truly a two bedroom condo with a complete ocean view. Top of the line ammenities. Mollie and her husband were staying in another condo at the complex to allow us to rent their condo. Mollie is extremely knowledgeable of the area and her condo is amazing! Everything there is first class. The walk to La Ropa beach is less than five minutes. There Road Casa Que ve a al Mar is on has all the best restaurants. While in Zihua my wife and I felt very safe and never any threat of even theft. We walked everywhere, day and night. Casa Romantica is the nicest condo I have stayed in anywhere in Mexico or the us.

When you walk thru the door you realize you are home for the time you have to spend there. It was absolutely beautiful from the view to the furnishings. We spent most of our time on the wonderful balconies. Mollie has thought of everything you will need for your stay. She is a most gracious host. I would never hesitate to come and stay again. My husband and I spent our 5th anniversary there. Zihua is so beautiful and the people are very nice. We drove around and never had any problems at all. We hope to be back soon. My wife and I decided to spend our honeymoon staying at the wonderful Casa Romantica. Molly, the owner, is a wonderful woman and has put together a wonderful suite that overlooks the beautiful bay. This being our first time in Zihua, we were very fortunate that our host provided us with some guidance to get us from the airport, to the suite, and to the beach asap. When we first arrived, we loved the open view of the bay from the instant we walked into the suit. From the room, it was a small hike down to the beach but after we figured it out we spent most mornings have breakfast down there. We did make the hike into town at least once and decided to take a cab from then on. The pools were great and showcased the bay. We felt safe the entire time and cannot wait to go back.

We enjoyed our stay here so much. We were greeted upon arrival and taken up to a beautiful, clean condo with awesome views and a great balcony. We walked over to the beach most of the time and when we went to town took a taxi. We were able to walk to several restaurants around there and even ordered in pizza one night. Overall it was a great value and we wouldnt change one thing. We felt safe and secure as well the entire time.Higly recommend Casa Romantica!

We just left Casa Romantica a few weeks ago and this place will definitely not disappoint. It was our first getaway since having our son almost a year ago. The condo and view are nothing short of movie worthy. Being able to wake up to an ocean view every morning will definitely melt all your stress away. When you arrive Eliezer is there to take care you. He assisted us with reservations, gave us recommendations on places to eat and hailed us cabs whenever needed. The entire staff is friendly and seems very eager to make your stay the best it can possibly be. Even the guards will lend a hand and hail cabs for you and give you their recommendations. As far as safety goes, well I already mentioned the guards, but you won't feel the need for them after walking around town or down the beach. I've been a few times to Zihuatanejo and it's always the same story, friendly people, great food and amazing beaches. It's what will keep us going back year after year, and Casa Romantica will be our first choice for a place to stay.

My husband and I have vacationed inIxtapa many times. Last year we decided we would stay in Zihuatanejo. After much research we found Casa Romantica. It was the best decision we made. We came with our grown daughter and a friend of hers We all loved it. The view is spectacular from the balcony. To watch the sun rise and the sunset is breathless. This vacation was relaxing, all the amenities of home. Molly and her staff ""Awesoew". The town, so much to see and do, the food, the people were friendly and hospitable. Felt very safe as well. It was just such a great time. We will definetly go back to Casa Romantica. I could go on and on. If your look for a great place to vacation come to Zihuatanejo and stay at Casa Romantica you will not regret it

I apologize for not sending you this review earlier. Everything was perfect, but I must admit that since we live in a rural mountain town the poolside road noise was obnoxious. Yet, for those who are used the sound of traffic, it probably wouldn't bother them.
Otherwise, one could not wish for a better view and well-kept, huge 2B/2B condo, anywhere!
I also want to emphasize the fact that my husband and I have visited Zihuatanejo once or twice a year for the past 5 years and have never felt uncomfortable or unsafe anywhere we have gone. We ride the town's buses for a few pesos, buy our produce and fish at the huge Mexican-style market downtown and walk around the town with unconcerned about danger. That's not to say that one does not throw their better judgment to the wind and walk the downtown area late at night, just as one would use caution in their hometown. I first visited Zihuatanejo with my sister in 1981 and except for the development that has occurred in the ensuing years(as is true in most coastal towns), I have found that little else has changed: the people are as respectful and kind as I found them to be over 25 years ago. I have visited and then revisited numerous other coastal towns in Mexico, in Baja, the Yucatan Peninsula, and the Pacific Coast, and Zihuatanejo has changed the least.The vendors on the beach are always polite and a simple "No, gracias" sends them on their way. During the past few years my husband and I have purchased 3-weeks at a nearby timeshare property, so we definitely will be visiting Zihua many times in the years to come. In fact, we'll be there for 3 weeks in Feb/March 2012. Come, enjoy and please, return the respect, kindnesses, and smiles these people so willingly share and the magic of Zihua will last forever!

We adore our stays at Casa Romantica! Everything is beautiful. Quiet and completely safe location, amazing view of the Bay as pictures indicate. Molly has made certain that the Condo has every single amenity imaginable! The property is immaculate. It's easy to get to town for shopping or a Mercado experience via taxi or local bus... and a short stroll down to Playa Ropa! There are plenty of great restaurants on Playa Ropa or you can just call out for delivery and have a serious Casa Romantica experience "at home"! We spend most of our time enjoying that tremendous patio and exploring the beach, completely carefree! Just wonderful memories. Can't wait for our next return.

My wife and I decided to take a long vacation to Zihuatanejo after visiting on a cruise. I found Casa Romantica to be the perfect place to get away and have all the comfort of home. The view is so incredible and the accommodations are five Star! This is a beautiful full service home with granite and custom tile work that is incredible and then the view... From now on I will never be happy with accommodations in a hotel after our stay here. Pool is great and restaurants are within walking distance and have excellent menus from steak and seafood to authentic local cuisine. Casa Romantica is absolutely my favorite place to get away from it all -- We have reservation this year for 15 days plan to visit many more times over the years!

We searched the internet for the perfect condo in Zihuatenejo and we found it. Breathtaking view, great pool and very helpful owner. The condo was beautiful, roomy and clean. The owner provided laptop came in very handy.

I consider myself a Zihua regular having been there
7 times since 2001, prior to this trip.
Casa Romantica was the best place for us to call
home on our recent trip to Zihuatanejo. There was
nothing that we needed - everything was provided
for us at Casa Romantica.
Waking up every morning to the views of the bay was
wonderful - having breakfast on the terrace was
even better. Falling asleep to the waves breaking
below (yes, you can hear them!) was better yet. Are
you noticing a trend?
The condo is outfitted with everything you could
possibly need and want. Mollie's attention to
detail is not missed. She has furnished the condo
beautifully and it really had everything down to
the yoga mat & pool floats!
The grounds of Casa Que Ve Al Mar are well
maintained. The security guards are friendly and
keep an eye on everyone who comes and goes.
The pools on the property are amazing! Although
with all the construction going on in Cerro del
Vigia, there is much more traffic and the limited
noise that goes with it.
Be prepared to climb steps! We did not rent a car
and walked everywhere. We counted 200 steps from
the street to the door of the condo. This was not a
problem for us (mid 40's, early 50's) but for some
it might be an issue.
This will certainly not deter us from renting this
unit again.
It was truly our dream vacation in Zihuatanejo! -

We found some cheaper flighyts out of the dreary midwest weather. We had several options, we chose Zihau having nver been before. Then we went about finding a place to stay. We did our research on the internet and inquired about avaialbity at this property. We are very fortunate to have stumbled upon Mollie and Casa Romantica. I would recommend her and this wonderful condo to just about anyone. It is on a hillside, so there are a few stairs to climb from time to time. The view and gerneral location make that a non-factor. It is fully and beautifully appointed. Mollie is so gracious and helpful. This is the ticket as far as we are concerned. We will go back given the opportunity.

I recently took a week long vacation to Mexico on March 7 - 14, 2010 for my honeymoon. I stayed at the La Casa Que Ve Al Mar and we were in Casa Romantica (#402).....which should be name a "PARADISE FOUND!!" I communicated with the owner, Mollie, who was one of the most helpful people I have ever met. Even at the last minute (the last week before my wedding), Mollie was very quick to answer all emails and even phone calls. Please check out her website at https://www.beachviewzihua.com. She sent us a healthy packet of information on places to eat, shop, and more. It was the best vacation I have ever been on. What a GREAT honeymoon place to stay for honeymooners! We had the freedom of grocery shopping at Commerical Mexicana and stocked up for week. We had breakfast every morning on the balcony overlooking the ocean.
We arrived on a Sunday and were able to check in early, we met with the Manger on duty - Eliezer. He was so friendly and helped us up to our room. He showed us how to use to internet (Mollie is so nice, she leaves a labtop for your personal use). There were 100's of books and movies to choose from. A TV and DVD player in the living room and the master bedsoom along with satalite tv, if you don't want to miss out on any sports games! Not that we were planning on watching much TV, but it was still a VERY nice luxury.
We were so happy when we walked in. The view from the bedroom and kitchen is overlooking the bay of Zihua. The condo was super clean and very spacious. The kitchen has marble counter tops and was fully loaded with any appliance you could dream of. It really made us feel at home. They have a water jug for purified water and even a filter for the sink water.
We rarely ever heard any traffic, which I've heard other people complain about. I mean you are in Mexico, the drivers are crazy! It was not in any way a bother to us. Review for Casa Romantica at Las Casa Que Ve al Mar in Zihuatanejo, Mexico.
My wife and I had not been in Zihua for over 10 years. Many changes to the community, all for the better. The best change was the condo complex La Casa Que Ve al Mar and the Casa Romantica. The facilities were even better than expected and my expectations were high. Pictures cannot do justice to the unit. Everything we could think of or needed was there, including kitchen utensils and condiments. The bay view from the front deck is phenomenal. Other than sleeping and cooking we spent most of our time on the deck, although the living room, office area and kitchen furnishings were exquisite and comfortable. Mollie was a true joy to work with and out did herself to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The staff was fun and most helpful. My best recommendation is simply we have already booked Mollie’s condo for 2011.

Having been all over Mexico over the past 30 years, I have to say our stay at Mollie's Casa Romantica was simply divine; AWSOME is the only way to describe this condo, located on a hillside high above La Ropa Beach and within walking distance to many good restaurants and beach bars. A bus or taxi into town made more sense to us, but some younger folks like to walk it. Thing about Zihuatanejo is - it's very rugged and hilly, so bring some good walking shoes (or flip flops will work also). I can say without reservation this condo is the nicest place I've seen in Mexcio, and the rates are very reasonable for a place this big. It accomodated my wife and another couple with a teenager quite well. The help, other owners, administration, front gate, security, maid service and conceriege, Eliezer were a joy to have -they left nothing for us to worry about except what to do next. We will definately be back next year, hopefully for a longer stay in February or March.

If you're looking for one f the most beautiful places to stay on earth, look no further. From the minute we walked in to Mollie's beautiful paradise, I would say was the beginning of the most perfect vacation we have ever taken. The views are spectacular right from your living roon and what a surprise every morning to wake up and see what new cruise ship had parked in the pristine bay. We can't wait to return to ZIH and there is no other place to stay than at "Casa Romantica" for us!
