303631A perfect vacation
Left on 01/30/2012 for a stay in December 2011
We stayed in Casa Linda for 10 days in December/11 with our families. Casa Linda is the perfect place to stay in Zihuatanejo, it's one of the most beautiful houses in the area.
It has 270 degee view of the pacific ocean and the town of Zihuatanejo.
The pool is overlooking the pacific ocean, decent size and very well maintained. The house is tastefully decorated with beautiful local artwork. From the first day we had great service. We were picked up from the airport the first day and dropped to the airport the last day which was a nice gesture. Our cook was great, especially we looked forward to the breakfasts...
We had couple of issues with the car and the dishwasher which were solved very quickly by our house manager Eloisa. Overall we had a perfect experience, may be compared to staying in the presidential suite of a 5 star hotel but with privacy, which is precious.
I would definitely recommend Casa Linda to anyone. -

When you walk into Casa Linda you are entering a different world. Warm breezes greet you just as your eye is ndrawn to a spectacular coastal view with Pacific waves climbing the rocks. the infinity pool literally asks you to lounge at poolside or in its sun heated waters. Judi greets you with a smile and a cool pitcher of lime juice. The evenings are long aand relaxing, the food tastey and plebtiful and the accomodations spacious and private amiodst the natural symphonmy of waves and birds. I haven't slept as well in years as I did at Casa Linda. If you want a private, personal and memorable retreat, you will want to stay at Casa Linda. The only downside is you have to leave. When I left I couldn't help ask this question: "Who could ask for more?"

Duluth, MnOne fabulous vacation destination

My wife and I spent 10 wonderful days in Zi-Ha at Casa Linda. I can't begin to do justice in describing the beauty of Casa Linda, its ocean views or the whole area of Zihuatanajo. Casa Linda is a beautiful home. It is very private and provides breath taking views of the ocean and the town of Zi-Ha. Judi made us breakfast every morning and prepared salsa and guac for our afternoon snacks, all wonderful. Not sure we've ever had a more relaxing vacation. Zi-Ha was a short 5 minutes away. Easy to drive in and would be easy to get to via cab as well. It is an unspoiled fishing village with just enough to do to keep you busy. Restaurants were great.
If you crave more action, Ixtapa is a 15 minute drive away from the house and very upscale.
We have been to many places in Mexico and the Carribean and none compare to Zi-Ha. Linda warned us that we'd fall in love, and we did. We'll be back next year and I'm sure for many years to come. -

Staying at Casa Linda has to be one of my all time favorite vacations! Of course I had the hostess with the mostess who showed me sights I may have never seen otherwise. Perfect weather, exquisite casa, interesting neighbors, spectacular views, wonderful staff and great food.Pampering at its best, complete with a private yoga class in town. She tops off the stay with service to and from the airport. If I could get there more often I would.

Our stay at Casa Linda exceeded all expectations. The accomodation is five star, the views are amazing and the pool is to die for! The bedrooms are private and luxurious, and the excellent wifi connection made keeping in touch easy. This is the perfect home to rent with friends or family.

CASA LINDA
MONTE CHRISTO
ZIHUATANEJO, MEXICO
November 25, 2009
We recently had the pleasure of spending a vacation at Casa Linda. Upon arrival at this beautiful new home we had difficulty finding words to describe the stupendous 360 degree vistas. The home, sited on a hilltop, occupies what must be one of the most scenic locations on the Pacific Coast. To the West the Ocean views are forever with large rollers breaking on the rugged coast line and the sunsets are awesome. The crystal clear infinity pool has been designed so that it appears to flow into the Ocean. To the East is the best view of the fishing village of Zihuatanejo, the sheltered Bahia, the beaches … and the sunrise each morning. The home has been professionally landscaped with lush natural vegetation all around. The home is ideal for 3 couples, 2 families, or 1 couple if all facilities are desired on the main level.
The owners employed a renowned Mexican architect to assist with their “palapa” design and this plan has paid off. Light breezes flow off the ocean and cool all living areas. There are many special touches and beautiful built in lounging areas and design features. Although key rooms are air conditioned we found it very comfortable without having to depend on it.
The community of Monte Christo is quiet, safe & secure with 7/24 security, and includes its own private beach with calm swimming & snorkeling. This tranquil bay is only minutes away from Casa Linda. Downtown Zihuatanejo is a 20min walk or 5 minute drive. Excellent and inexpensive restaurants are there and shopping areas have been recently been upgraded with pleasant walking malls. You can watch fishing boats unload their catch on the beach in front of the town.
A Mexican couple maintain the home and prepare meals. We were able to select Mexican specialties from Sandy’s own recipe book. They were able to “spice up or down” dishes according to our taste. Sandy and Homero were anxious to please us in every way.
The creators of Casa Linda were very helpful in many aspects of planning our vacation and were quick and business-like in responding to our many questions.
We can honestly say that our time spent at this magical place will remain in our memories for a long time to come.
