Ema Hause really surprised me. We stayed in such a great appartment in Nordstraße with all we needed. The location was also really good(close to donwtown but quiet), and with a 5 star service. Everyone was extremlly nice and helpfull. The small details such as a hand wrote wellcome note and small chocolates everywhere made our stay also very pleased.

My husband and I enjoyed the Ema House apartment very much. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff was welcoming and easy to work with. The location was a little farther from the main train station than we had expected, but the tram stop was only a block away, and everything we wanted to see was a short ride away. Staying here made us feel like a local, not a tourist.

Cozy and spacious, these apartments provide all the amenities you may need during your stay. The TV set may not be state-of-the-art and the décor may look a bit outdated (although not worn out), but all things considered, the place is well kept and the service was correct. The remote reception system is a bit weird at times, but in the end it worked.
The street where the building is located may have been a major thoroughfare just a few years ago, but it has been converted into a quiet side street. Connections to public transport are good: the walk to the tram is hardly three minutes, and from there you can easily get anywhere downtown. There is also a large supermarket right by the tram stop.
If you have a car, the EMa house provides parking spaces in the basement for their guests at a daily rate - however, make sure that the car is small enough for it!
Would definitely come back. -

The apartment was clean, well located and had all amenities needed. I was particularly impressed with the regular cleaning service, which kept the place in an impeccable state. Internet was fast and there is plenty restaurants and shops in the area.
On the downside the apartment is pretty dark and doesn't have too much furniture. I also didn't like the bed too much, but that may be my personal preference. From a nerd perspective, no WiFi from the start and a VHS recorder coupled with a 27" CRT TV were a little disappointing although it didn't materially affect my well being. -

A very clean and functional apartment house, ideally suited for families or business travelers. Its furniture is simple but in a very good shape. The fitted kitchen is relatively new and equipped with all necessary electronic devices.
Don't be put off by the slightly chaotic property management (remote reception desk) - they are very friendly and managed to solve all (really small) issues very quickly and reliably.
The house is situated in a quarter which is currently being graded up by major construction works, it can thus (as of Oct 11) become quite noisy. However, the public transport connection to the city centre is very good.

A lot to do and see in Zürich. The apartment is comfortable although the location is not the best. Pizza shop downstairs is noisy around midnight. Service and support very efficient. The balcony should be more clean to make the stay better in summer time.

The apartment was in good shape and it was a very good price for an expensive city. The tram ride to the city center was about 10 minutes and it was very convenient. The neighborhood was nice in a very typical Swiss residential style. All in all, a great place. I would stay there again.

Ema House in Sihlfeldstrasse, Zurich, provides excellent accommodation for medium term stays. The appartment was excellent, roomy, with a very high standard of furnishings, facilities and services, fully adequate for all requirements. The apartment is close to regular and frequent public transport services (tram), providing approx. 10 min to the city centre.

It would be better to have waschmachine in each appartment but in general everithing was ok. Rooms are light and there is all necessary equipment.

Extremely professional service from EMa, the apartment was very spacious, clean and with excellent facilities, a real home away from home and we will definitely return next time we stay in Zurich.
The addition of wifi would be a real plus and easily added with a wireless router.
