Visit the tea room around the corner,Miyuko, they make scones to order and have delicious cakes. including ones that are gluten free and vegan. For us the best day was when we visited Rapperswil by boat.
Only complaint about the flat is the size of the tea cups. if you usually drink from a mug take one with you. -

A residential apartment at the EMa House on Beckenhofstrasse 22 is a perfect and quiet option for families who prefer a more comfortable "home-away-from-home" feel during a longer-term visit to Zurich. (units require a min 3-night stay) vs. their hotel rooms. The property is an easy 3-minute, slight-incline walk from the main hotel building with very secure access. Their 2-bedroom/2-toilet/bath option on the 4th floor included a kitchenette, fridge, dishwasher, washer/drier combo, stovetop , utensils/cutlery, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. The entire apartment was perfectly clean and the bedrooms were comfortable and cozy. The balcony opens to a residential street, which during the hot summer days, was a welcome option to air out the apartment. The interior design is simple/sparse, but do-able, including digital TV access and hi-speed WiFi (CHF 15/week) . The location is outside of the main city center but an easy walk to the main attractions. The tram stops at Beckenhof (downhill across from the main hotel building) or Ottikerstrasse (uphill) are also simple transport options to the center within 2-stops. For food/groceries, there are small-mini grocers down the street from the main building and a green-grocery with more options across from the Ottikerstrasse stop (uphill). For those requiring a larger/full selection, a Coop is located quite a distance further up on Universitätstrasse as well. Service at check-in/out was friendly and all the attendants we spoke with were kind and helpful. Overall, a comfortable and quiet stay away from the city noise, yet close enough to the primary tourist spots in Zurich.

We really enjoyed our stay in our 2 BR, 1.5 Ba apartment. For the money, it was a tremendous bargain. Spacious kitchen & living room, 2 reasonable sized BRs, very nice bathrooms. The rental folks were extremely helpful, bringing us fans the first night, answering questions, and letting us leave the key in the mailbox when we left in the early morning.

There were 4 of us traveling together, my wife and I and two other friends. Spent 3 nights. Easy to find from directions given and two tram stops from main train station. Arrived before normal check in time and were able to get right in as it had been empty the night before. A short walk (half block) with luggage to Beckenhofstrasse 22 from check in office, but they helped with luggage. There are several units in the building and our unit was on 4th floor, but good elevator even though small. Unit was absolutely clean and immaculate. Two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, mini kitchen with fridge, stove top, and micro. All utensils and even coffee pot and toaster. Kitchen, dining area and living area all one room. Second bedroom up stairs, kind of like a loft but better privacy. Had internet via hard connection first day as they were in process of installing Wi-Fi while we were there, worked flawlessly. We all said we would stay here again.

very nice facility and perfect for a few days or longer stay with my wife to explore the city and be able to feel at home by being able to buy interesting food and cook or warm up at the suite. receiving visitors is also nice and like being at home.

Value for money is there only with family. Need to make arrangement for breakfast atleast as there are no nearby restaurants open for breakfast..
