Relaxing holiday in a lovely cottage, great area.

Left on Dec 03, 2009 for a stay in September 2008

The cottage has been sympathetically restored and provides every modern comfort. It was impeccably clean and although the area is quiet the village provides interesting walks. The local pubs give good value and produce good food. It is a short distance away from other attractions, say Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall which are a "must" to see.
I cannot find fault and would stay there again.

A fabulous cottage......

Left on Jun 24, 2012 for a stay in June 2012

We were the first to stay at this lovely cottage. It is beautifully decorated, clean and the owners Jo & Veronica have thought of everything you could need. They even provided a dog bed, sacks, treats and towels for our dog ! Our daughter had a wonderful time helping with the farm animals. There is lots to see and do nearby as the cottage is situated in a great location. We will definately …

We spent a week in this lovely cottage and couldn't have wished for a more comfortable stay. The cottage has been thoughtfully modernised and has very good quality fittings and furnishings. We have stayed a lightwood Cottage a couple of times over the last year. The cottage is well furnished and equipped, clean and is conveniently located both for Buxton and open countryside. We travelled to Buxton by train but there is ample car parking at the property. We will almost certainly return and would recommend the cottage for an enjoyable break.
