“Absolutely fabulous” Always love our stays at Bwythn Clyd.- Cannot fault this property. We sat outside in November, both at the bungalow and to have lunch at our favourite eating place- the Pilot Boat. What a bonus is that. This property has everything you need to make your stay hasslefree. We are looking forward to our next visit in May. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

“A spotless comfortable cottage” We had a brilliant week on anglesey, staying in this comfy well-equipped cottage with lots of information about the area to help us decide where to go each day. The cottage was a haven of peace to return to after our walks. The owners, Catherine and Paul, were very kind and helpful and the chickens kept us supplied with fresh eggs throughout our stay. The sea is never far, the walks are great- very varied too , there's an excellent restaurant down the road and a very good chippie in the next village. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stick Cottage.

“it was home from home” We had a warm welcome and assistance with travel details and places of interest. Despite the bungalow being next door to the farm house we were never felt intruded upon. It was a wonderful holiday.

“Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant.” We arrived to a very warm welcome from our hosts, Mr and Mrs Kelly. The welcome pack was a really nice surprise. The cottage was exceptionally well equipped and extremely comfortable and set in a beautiful, peaceful location with lovely views of the surrounding countryside, within easy reach of local amenities and attractions. The hot tub was just what we needed after walking up and down Snowdon! We will return.

Why Anglesey?

Anglesey's natural beauty, tranquil setting and varied beaches make this Welsh wonder a fantastic choice when choosing a vacation in the UK. There are many events throughout the year that celebrate local food, music and culture, so despite its peaceful atmosphere there's never a dull moment in Anglesey. And if you fancy learning a new Welsh word, how about Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch? It's the longest place name in Europe (and probably the hardest to say!).

The chocolate-box villages have some beautiful self-catering vacation cottages where you can while away the evening sitting on a pretty patio with a glass of wine. Or how about a family-sized house near the sea with room for everyone? Whatever vacation accommodation you're looking for, there's plenty to choose from in Anglesey.

Wonderful wildlife

A trip to Anglesey wouldn't be complete without a visit to the stunning South Stack Cliffs. Binoculars and telescopes are provided so you can enjoy a close-up view of nesting colonies of seabirds on the cliffside. Look out for guillemots, puffins and razorbills. If you're lucky, you might be able to spot porpoises and dolphins in the sea in the summer months.

The hidden gardens at Plas Cadnant are often described as one of North Wales' best kept secrets and it's easy to see why: stroll through the unique walled garden, explore the secret valley garden with its three waterfalls and river, and walk the beautiful upper woodland garden. Other wildlife-spotting highlights include a walk through the gardens at Plas Newydd and looking out to sea from the South Stack Lighthouse.

Family fun

If you're planning a family vacation in Anglesey, you can look forward to a wealth of things to see and do. Meet the farm animals at Foel Farm park, see a flight of colorful butterflies at Pili Palas nature world or spend the day rockpooling on the beach. There are some fantastic beaches in Anglesey. Benllech beach is perfect for swimming and sea-fishing, and the sandy Newborough beach is unspoiled and has breathtaking sea views.

great accomodation, fab location, would recommend! had a lovely relaxed family time and definately will be returning!

The cottage is in an ideal location for exploring all of Anglesey. In my opinion its not far from the nicest part which is Newborough Beach. we spent a lot of time here. Its a lovely walk down to the beach or there is a car park close. Its just £3 to get to it through the National Trust Newborough forest. If I am correct Llandwynn Island is at the end of Newborough beach, fabulous place! then Maltreath Sands joins on, just check the map im not good with geography. Anyway its very easy to get to all parts of Anglesey and wherever you drive to you seem to end up in a beautiful place. Stick Cottage is a lovely cosy place. The combination microwave is adequate and we managed fine with it. We went into Menai to get Chinese and Indian take outs and there is a nice chippy in Newborough itself called The Codmother. There are pubs where you can eat and we went to the co op not too far away. Catherine & Paul are lovely hosts, although we didn't like to bother them too much we knew they were happy to help always if needed. I really enjoyed living here for the week and really appreciated this lovely comfortable cottage and hope to return in the future to explore Anglesey some more more! im sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we did! Brilliant Vacation

I stayed at The Quayside in Cemaes ,Anglesey . I could not fault the Apartment location ,the overall upkeep of the Apartment was First class ,very well maintained and clean and tidy and felt I should have stayed a lot longer . The location is superb ,and is only a short downhill walk to the beach /Harbour . The Village is small and welcoming with pubs ,shops etc . I can only think of good things to say about the Quayside Apartment ,and the Cemaes village . Would I go again ? without any Hesitation !!see more
