Splendido e vicinissimo il mare d'estate si infrange su una nera scogliera di roccia lavica, formando insenature mozzafiato tutte da vedere. In autunno a due passi dall'Etna si possono visitare le sagre dei paesi pedemontani e si può usufruire ancora del mare, che è praticabile fino a stagione inoltrata. In inverno è un comodo alloggio, dal quale spaziare su una zona ricca di barocco e splendidi monumenti e partecipare a manifestazioni folcloristiche come il famoso Carnevale di Acireale, il più bel carnevale di Sicilia. A primavera il mare è già invitante per la temperatura mite del clima, mentre il profumo di zagara si diffonde intenso nella sera. Ottimo periodo questo, per visitare le città vicine, in un percorso culturale punteggiato di antichi e splendidi monumenti e degustare le delizie gastronomiche e dolciarie e i vini pregiati.
