Description
The apartment complex is located on a hillside overlooking the Old Town of Albufeira and Fisherman's Beach. The apartment itself is spaciously located over two floors, each offering fantastic views towards Fishermans beach and the old town of Albufeira. The large balconies, which many guests have commented they have spent most of their holiday wining and dining upon, entertain you with the constantly changing marine and beach activity. The lounge area, like the outdoor terrace, is south west facing with floor to ceiling patio windows offering the same panoramic views. The complex itself incorporates a large outdoor swimming pool and an area for family BBQing. Only 5 minutes walk away you find yourself in the quaint Old Town of Albufeira with its restaurants, bars and refurbished Fishermans square offering full entertainment for adults and children alike. Car hire is not necessary as two large supermarkets are within a 5 to 10 minutes walk and a smaller supermarket is within a 2 minutes stroll. There are many golf courses close by (3 courses within a 10 minute drive and another 30 courses within a 30 minute drive), they include Salgados, Vilamoura, Vale do Lobo, Pine Cliffs and Vila Sol plus many more. Mentioning just a few of the other fantastic attractions the Algarve has to offer, they include Aquashow Park of Quarteira, Slide and Splash in Lagoa, Zoo Marine in Giua, the anual Fiesa Sand Sculpture festival (the largest in the world, running from April - October) and many more. Visitors who have returned to this apartment year after year comment “with the location, views, spacious surroundings and overall feeling you get from staying in the apartment, how could anyone be disappointed?”

Entering the apartment you are welcomed by an open plan, light and spacious area. The upper floor offers a fully equipped modern kitchen, Television with over 100 channels to choose from a double shower room and large separate dining and lounge areas facing panoramic floor to cealing, wall to wall double glazed patio doors. Opening the patio doors gives you access to the large outside terrace/dining area with amazing panoramic views down to the old town, beach and across the ocean. Stairs lead you down to direct access to the second large terrace offering the same fantastic views and two large double bedrooms, one also with direct access to the terrace. Both bedrooms offer fitted wardrobes and have access to a family bathroom with thermostatic shower. Air-conditioning / heating is allocated in every room. The apartment is 140 square metres internally and has an amazing 50 metres of sun terraces (one upper floor and one lower floor) It sleeps 4 spaciously, 6 comfortably with the option to sleep a further three (best suited to children). The two single beds in each of the bedrooms can be pushed together to form doubles, there are 3 sofa beds in the living area and a further 2 sofa beds in an area outside the two double bedrooms.The large upper terrace has an extendable dining table with 8 chairs and is accessed via patio doors from the lounge. The large lower terrace has 4 sun loungers and 4 chairs and is accessed via the hall area or bedroom patio doors.

The complex is gated and secure and comprises of a mixture of residential and holiday lets. The large outdoor swimming pool, which has just been fully renovated (2014) has a poolside snack bar for guests and residents only. The poolside bar is open during peak periods only. The pool has a cordened off area for children to swim.

“Lovely apartment that certainly lives up to it's name”
Large apartment spread over two floors, each with its own large balcony with a fabulous view over Albufeira Old Town and the sea. Sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine watching the gorgeous sunsets is very special.The apartment was spotlessly clean with all the facilities you will need for your stay. Very good Wi-Fi service across both floors. Close to all amenities with a supermarket a few hundred yards away and the centre of the Old Town a short 10 mins walk. Overall, a perfect apartment in a perfect location. Finally a massive thank you to Philippa for making the booking process so straightforward and providing all the excellent arrival information.

“Stay in Albufeira”
We stayed at this apartment for 11 nights and it was perfect. Very clean with the offer of clean bedding and towels half way through holiday , we had a few issues which were sorted right away so no complaints there ! As we had an early morning flight coming and a later flight going home Philippa was very accommodating which was very much appreciated. All in all a great apartment with even greater views on the fab balconies Norman

“Large apartment - fantastic views”
Stayed here as a party of 3. Large apartment with two superb terraces and stunning views over the Old Town and Fisherman's Beach. Living area and bedrooms all spacious. As others have said, great location with just a short walk down to the escalators for access to the Old Town and beach. Philippa was a pleasure to deal with & would have moved dates/refunded due to closing of UK travel corridor but we decided to travel regardless - glad we did! Will definitely return in the future.

“Great apartment”
We are a family of 4 who stayed in apartment Magnifico the last week of August. The apartment is very spacious over two floors with 2 bedrooms , two bathrooms, large lounge and dining area and two large terraces . The views over the old town and the sea are beautiful and the location is great being only 5 mins from a spar shop and 10 mins or less from fisherman’s beach. The shared pool is a good size and plenty of sun beds available. We had a problem with air con in the main bedroom and lounge when we first arrived but Philippa and Adrian got the engineers out the next day and it was repaired the day after so can’t complain. The only things I would recommend to the owners to improve the property is to invest in a smart tv as it would have been nice to watch Netflix etc as there were only Portuguese channels available on the tv. Also I found the pillows really uncomfortable so better quality pillows would be great.

Regards the television, it is a shame you did not contact me again as the TV does have over 100 channels in various languages and I suspect the TV may have simply been set the the incorrect INPUT channel, hence you were only receiving local channels. I have, however, suggested to the owner the purchase of a SMART TV as Netflix and Prime Television can both be accessed on this. Thank you again and we hope you will visit again. Regards Philippa
