My husband and I stayed for a couple of nights, last minute booking.

Lovely little apartment, nicely furnished with everything you need for a relaxing break and a great base to explore the area.

Bed linen was beautifully crisp and white. Everything lovely and clean and the downstairs shower room with rainforest rose shower is a great bonus.

The cottage was well appointed and very clean. We chose the cottage because of it convenient location in north England. It proved to be an excellent choice. Every time we need help, our hosts went out of their way to assist. At the same time, our privacy was carefully respected. I would go back anytime.

We would highly recommend this lovely cottage, really was a home away from home, clean, comfortable and cosy with a wonderful log fire, we were welcomed on a cold sunday afternoon by a lovley lady who looks after the cottage, heating on and bread and milk provided. A great family retreat in a picturesque village.

Decent accomodation can be hard to find in the Durham part of the C2C route. I was pleased to secure a spot at this bunkhouse for our party of 6. Shayne and Ian were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The provision of cleaning materials for our bikes on arrival was greatly appreciated!! The bunkhouse is clean and comfortable. There is just the one bathroom and the shower isn't very …

Our group of friends felt so at home here, everything we could have imagined needing was there, there was a lovely welcome pack with treats in when we arrived which made us feel so welcome. We loved it so much we stayed in most nights because it was so comfortable and cosy! but there were also good pubs very near. We did lots of cooking in the house, and the kitchen was …
