“A lovely stay at Crook Lodge”

Reviewed 30 Mar 2023

We booked Crook Lodge for a mini moon trip away to the Lakes - what a good choice that was! The lodge is so lovely and well presented, it has everything you could possibly need for a weekend or week … More

“Perfect retreat”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2017

Just back from a lovely weekend at crook lodge, would highly recommend this lodge and area to anyone! Cartmel is a short walk away, where there is local pubs, restaurants, a local shop (where sticky toffee comes from originally- a MUST!!!) etc..!!! (If walking I would highly recommend a good torch!!) Windermere is also very easy to get to from the lodge (we went by car!). As well as every other place! The lodge itself is very private, it was spotless and very well equipped. There was logs, paper and kindling left for us for the log burner (which was very cozy in the colder evenings), however the lodge itself had great central heating too! The hot tub is fab, lovely to relax in, we were however dissapointed there wasn’t a separate towel or robe for this! We would 100% book here again! Thanks Rozzer and rara
