Fabulous Fall

Left on Oct 05, 2009 for a stay in September 2009

We couldn't be more pleased with our stay at Three Rivers Resort. We went the second week of September and the leaves were just changing. The salmon were running and my husband had lots of practice fly fishing. The Taylor River is beautiful and so is the Spring Creek area. I took lots of beautiful pictures. The cabin was perfect and we always had clean towels. The location is wonderful, …

the stay was good

Left on Jul 30, 2009 for a stay in July 2009

We had a pleasant time in Almont. I think that the cabin was everything we expected. It wasn't the nicest but it also served it's purpose. We also rented cabin #22. We had a family get away last week, and it was nice to have the adults in on cabin and the young adults in an other. We did all the cooking in cabin #22, since it had the larger kitchen. We all enjoyed the view along the river …

An excellent place to stay!

Left on Jul 27, 2009 for a stay in July 2009

We enjoyed the roominess of the Loft, esp. combined
with the George Bailey House below (that our friends
stayed in). It was great to have laundry facilities,
a campfire ring, the hottub, grills and great
porch/deck. I appreciated the towels and bedding
being provided and that towels were laundered and
replaced as I needed.
The location was great...close enough to the
store/resturant but …

great for fishing

Left on Feb 11, 2009 for a stay in September 2008

Three Rivers resort has a great location for fishing. we has three people stay in this cabin, which was one too many for the size. I was on the futon, and would have preferred the bed. Will certainly come back again, but would get a 2 bedroom cabin next time if traveling with 3 people.

Great base for photography up around CB. Cabin even foldbed couch functioned fine. No plumbing problems. Cooking utensils and "china" were fine for 2. Left on Jul 22, 2009 for a stay in July 2009

Our family enjoys the stay and was greeted with enthusiasm. The staff was full of information on the area and was always ready to help if we needed something.

The only thing I would change is when they play bingo next door that they could put road signs up not to block the drive ways where cars are. We were not able to get out. That is no fault of the resort, but maybe the signs would help.

Great Value and Location

Left on Jul 31, 2009 for a stay in July 2009

Three Rivers is a great resort. These Cabins are newer (~3yrs) than others. Great views & fishing of / on the Taylor River. For the technology minded folks there is no TV and the radio picks up one local station, but you can play CD's if you want to hear something other than the sounds of the river. Electric fireplace works great to take the chill off in the mornings. The bathrooms in these units…

A Total Blast!!!

Left on Jul 01, 2009 for a stay in June 2009

I stayed there with my husband and my 5 year old!!! We had SOOO much fun! The people were so nice (including employees and other guests) The only thing that we wished was different, was the access to the Taylor river behind the riverside mountain chalet we rented...there was only the boat ramp access and it was always busy with people getting in and out and other fisherman! The main reason we …

Relaxing Stay - Family rafting

Left on Feb 11, 2009 for a stay in September 2008

This was a great stay for the money. Since we use to live in Gunnison, we just love Almont and the Three Rivers Resort. Our family had a great rafting trip down the Taylor River too. Our guide was all about us having a great time and safe. The staff at the 3 Rivers is really friendly. We will be back next year...

Life on Your Terms

Left on Jul 23, 2009 for a stay in June 2009

The personnel at Three Rivers Resort are friendly and professional. Willing to
help and always with a smile. The outdoor restaurant is beautiful. The food is
tasty and plenty of it. In using our budget, we could cook many of our meals
in our cabin kitchen, which has all the utensils I needed. Cabin 63 has all the
amenities of home, but right in the middle of a forest with a river running …

Great area

Left on Feb 11, 2009 for a stay in July 2008

I have been taking my family to Three Rivers every summer for about 16 years. Our kids are grown now but my wife and I still return. This past summer, we spent two weeks at Three Rivers. It's a great place if you love the outdoors. While we are there, I go fishing almost every day while my wife goes to CB or Gunnison. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We're looking forward to …

The staff are very accomodating and the facilities excellent and

Left on Sep 10, 2009 for a stay in August 2009

The level of service from everybody, front desk to the wait staff was excellent. The accomodations were well maintained, in excellent shape and reasonably priced. Almont is a nice quiet out of the way place to get away from the city. The meals at the on site restaurant were excellent. I went there with a fellow worker to go fishing and we had a great time catching fish. We rented a cabin (#4) …

Very Comfortable Cabin

Left on Feb 11, 2009 for a stay in September 2008

We just spent a wonderful week at the Cabin 60 and had a wonderful time. This is
the first time that we stayed in a vacation rental home instead of a hotel -- and it was perfect. The
cabin was closer to the River. Everything was in order when we arrived, and we were pleased to
learn that the pictures online matched the cabin. It's actually nicer than the pictures!

Need to replace the bed

Left on Jul 17, 2009 for a stay in July 2009

The bed was terrible, it had a valley in the middle and it was unbearable. The last night we moved the beds together in the loft so we could get some sleep.
We would like to return but not if we know the bed was going to be like that again because we were miserable the short period of time we actually spent time in the cabin.
Otherwise, is was beautiful and we plan to make Almont and Crested …

refreshing

Left on Jul 14, 2011 for a stay in July 2011

My family has been coming to 3R for over 25 years. We used to tent down by the river and have also stayed in the cabins. The new cabins are beautiful but just too far out of our budget for a weekend getaway. Still, we love being there!
