Fabulous Fall

We couldn't be more pleased with our stay at Three Rivers Resort. We went the second week of September and the leaves were just changing. My husband, 13 year old daughter and I enjoyed our stay at Three Rivers. We spent our first 3 nights in cabin #9 then moved to #36 for 2 nights. We enjoyed the modernness of #36 and the location but I think we liked #9 better. It was more rustic and felt like a true get-a-way from everyday life. I think our last 2 nights in #36 got us ready to get back in the routine of "home". We enjoyed both …

Three Rivers Resort = 5 Stars*****

Left on Jul 02, 2009 for a stay in June 2009

My wife and I and a friend recently stayed at the
Three rivers Resort in Almont for the first time.
What a treat. The Resort is conveniently and
centrally located between Gunnison and Crested
Butte giving us quick access to the hi-way and our
daily activities. We just loved the clean cozy
cabin on the river front that we rented and the
screen doors on the cabin took us back to the old

The stay was very good, Restuarant has very good food and the service was very friendly always greeting with a smile. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions very respectfully. The rafting guides were professional and i would recommend them to all that i know. The only problem that i had during the entire week stay was the sound of a water pump all day that was attached to the …

Very Comfortable Cabin

Left on Feb 11, 2009 for a stay in September 2008

We just spent a wonderful week at the Cabin 60 and had a wonderful time. This is
the first time that we stayed in a vacation rental home instead of a hotel -- and it was perfect. The
cabin was closer to the River. Everything was in order when we arrived, and we were pleased to
learn that the pictures online matched the cabin. It's actually nicer than the pictures!

A Great Escape

Left on Feb 19, 2009 for a stay in August 2008

Even though we live in the beautiful town of Ouray, Colorado, my wife and I needed a few days of "escape time" to get away from running our 2 retail stores and wholesale distribution business. We spent 2 nights at Three Rivers Resort. We went in to Crested Butte for half a day and then returned to the resort where we just relaxed and unwound on the swing in the courtyard. We toured the grounds…

Left on Aug 04, 2009 for a stay in July 2009

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with 1 exception.

First, I would say 90% of hotels/ motels/ b&b's have AC. While true that the temps drop down enough in Almont to not need Air conditioning, at minimum, a fan would be useful to keep cooler in the heat of the day, or to bring in the cooler air into the cabin in the evenings.
No fan.... and initially after asking for one at the front desk, the …
