“An amalfi Dream” We booked this beautiful villa in celebration of a big birthday and anniversary. We invited the whole extended family. This was beyond anyone's imagination. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The booking was very pleasant as the agent is very informative and knowledgeable about the area. The bonus - there is a local agent who really helped make this a perfect trip. He's local to the amalfi Coast and helps with all planning each day. We had a local couple cook pizza in the property's woodburning oven - that was truly amazing!!! We highly recommend Lauri and Giacondo of amalfi Life!

“A wonderful stay” This apartment is both beautiful and perfectly located on the amalfi coast. It had great amenities enjoyed by the whole family, particularly the pool. It is only a short walk to restaurants, for groceries or to admire the water. The expert advice and welcome by the staff made this stay very enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again, and happy to recommend to others.

About Amalfi

Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Amalfi Coast is considered to be one of the most beautiful destinations in all of Italy. With a number of towns ranging from beachside communities to mountain villages, in addition to a reputation for some of the best food in the area, the Amalfi Coast offers plenty of places to enjoy the crystal blue sea and scenic landscape.

Here are a few must-sees during your stay in the area:

  • Go For a Drive: The scenic Amalfi Drive is considered to be among the best road-trips in the world.
  • Via San Cesareo: The main street of the old town in Sorrento features multiple buildings well over 500 years old that have remained almost perfectly intact.
  • Walking Paths: There are countless walking paths scattered throughout the area that will take you from historical ruins to local fishing villages.
  • Correale Museum: This museum has a wide range of Neapolitan exhibits on display throughout the year.
  • Stabilimenti: The Italian word for "pier," this is the best substitute for the absence of beaches on the Amalfi Coast. Plenty of these piers have lifts that will take you down to the sea and back up into town.
  • Try the local cuisine: The Amalfi Coast has earned a reputation for having some of the best restaurants in the country.

Even though the Amalfi Coast has a reputation as a summer getaway, there are plenty of festivals and events to take part in year-round. The Sorrento International Film Festival, held every December, has taken place for almost 50 years and presents awards to the best films in Italy and throughout the world. The Sorrento Summer of Music takes place between July and September each year and features internationally known classical and jazz musicians performing alongside local talent. Finally, the Festa di Sant'Andrea, held in June, honors the patron saint of Amalfi.

Whether you want a luxury condo with high-end amenities, a villa that overlooks the crystal blue waters of the coast, or an apartment steps from some of the best restaurants and shopping in Italy, there's a vacation rental available to help you get the most out of your stay.

Villa Madreluna
A dream week in amalfi

working with Summer in Italy was very easy, friendly and the people were very helpful. The Villa Madreluna fit our needs perfectly. The views, family space, kitchen and pool were in perfect condition and our family of 11 had all the room we need. The owners of the villa were very helpful with directions, willing to cook any meal and help us in any other way. We choose to have a cooking class with the owner and it was one of the best evenings we had.see more
Loft Apartments with pool by Amalfivacation
Fabulous and so relaxing

We stayed at The Loft apartments after time in both Roma and Florence. It was a fabulous haven and we loved every day we were there (5 days). The staff were very friendly; the accommodation was great - roomy, clean, had everything you needed and they even had a bottle of wine for our arrival. The pool was a delight - we sat and read our books whilst enjoying the scenery. Close to everything and easy to get food to eat in. Just up the road going away from the town was a fabulous restaurant where we would have dinner and then wander back into town for a gelati for dessert. Only suggestion is that you get the luggage porter to take you to the apartment if you get dropped at the water - lugging roller luggage the 400 meters along the cobblestones up hill isn't great. Beds were comfortable and wifi worked very well. I would go back in a second!see more
Stunning views, Space & Charm, Great Pool, Ideal Amalfi Coast Location
Villa dei Signori is a great property with breathtaking views an

We loved this property and look forward to going back. The grounds, location, outdoor kitchen, pool and ample space in the house were all terrific. The location in Furore is great because there is a local grocery, a bar / cafe with wonderful pastries (owned by the uncle of the homeowners), a place to park a car and easy access to the bus. We also loved the location because it was a 1600 step walk to sea (about 30 minutes) that was just beautiful. The house itself is lovely, with generous bedrooms and nice bathrooms. Our only complaint, which we understand has now been fixed, is that the windows did not have screens, which made the meager air-conditioning a problem. The furnishings in the living room and dining room are not as welcoming as they should be, but this was a relatively minor issue for us as we were a family of five. The outdoor kitchen and particularly, the outdoor pizza oven, were so much fun. Amalfi Life was a terrific experience. Laurie and Gioncondo are a great team - with her in the States and he a local who lives in Furore. They made great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The two absolute musts are the "Walk of the Gods" and Gioncondo's suggested boat captain friend. Gioncondo is a friendly as you want him to be. At first we didnt know what to think because he is so friendly and we were skeptical americans. But as we got to know him, we understood that he loves his home so much and wants others to have great experiences. Everyone in Furore and amalfi know him fondly. He brought us tomato sauce and wood for our pizza oven fires and he took us to the start of the Walk of the Gods in agerola. He also introduced us (and drove us) to his friend (name escapes me at this moment) who took us out for a half day tour of the amalfi Coast by boat.see more
