Apartment Furore is situated close to the pretty coastal village of the same name between the famous towns of Positano and Amalfi. Built loftily into the hillside the little town boasts fantastic views of the coastline, and is well known for its picturesque Fiord of Furore. The apartment itself is extremely comfortable, has air conditioning, and a large panoramic terrace, complete with Jacuzzi tub, which overlooks an amazing panorama of the clear blue sea.
Apartment Furore is easily reached via 17 steps from the road through the little town to the apartment situated above. From its elevated position, there are the most beautiful views of the azure sea below. Spacious and airy the apartment is furnished in a fresh and comfortable Mediterranean style with stunning views from many of its windows. Its' large living room has a sitting area with corner settee, armchair (which can convert to a single bed on request), fireplace, satellite television and DVD, and an archway leads to a fully equipped kitchen which has dining table and chairs and opens onto the lovely terrace. The terrace has a sunshade, Jacuzzi tub, sun loungers and table and chairs and enjoys spectacular sea views, creating the perfect spot to relax, or dine al fresco whilst watching the sun setting on the horizon.
There are three lovely bedrooms, one of the double bedrooms and the single bedroom, open onto the terrace, and just off the lounge is a further double bedroom. There are two shower rooms each with hydro massage shower, and one with washing machine. The apartment is air conditioned throughout, has fly screens at the windows, and there is a parking space close by for guests use.
The picturesque little town of Furore is just 800m away and has a selection of shops, restaurants and bars and there is a local bus service. The town is famous for its Fiord, a spectacular break in the cliffs with the deep blue sea below, in fact world diving championships are held here every year.
This wonderful area inspired writers and composers such as Goethe and Wagner, as well as stars of Italian cinema including Roberto Rossellini who were all awed with its beauty. The picturesque towns of Positano and Amalfi are less than half an hour's drive or can be reached by local bus and further afield, well worth a visit are the archeological sites of Pompeii and Ercolano, at the feet of the volcano Vesuvius, and cosmopolitan Sorrento with its maze of streets, with shops and pavement cafes is also a joy to explore.

This beautiful, spacious and beautifully furnished Villa was a wonderful and lovely experience for myself and my sister-in-law for our week stay in this adorable town of Furore on the amalfi Coast.
Caterina and her family made us feel like family from the minute we arrived to this lovely Villa. Caterina's father helped us with our belongings and we were so graciously presented with a beautiful home made dinner and a lovely lemon cake to die for.
A car is definitely necessary for your stay in Furore and the location is very accessible to amalfi, Positano and other neighboring towns. We enjoyed our little grocery store and restaurant in town.
The view from the Villa was absolutely magnificent and breathtaking and quite peaceful while having our morning coffee and/or enjoying our few, stay in, evening meals.
We also found it easy to travel to Naples, Sorrento and Pompeii (for experienced drivers).
All in all, this was, for us, the most wonderful experience for our first trip to Italy. We will definitely be returning very soon and hope to stay again in this breathtaking Villa.
Thank you Caterina and family. We miss you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa. It was easy to find by car from Naples airport and Katerina
was very helpful. The villa is well-equipped and very clean and had all we needed - except strangely a kettle!!
This needs addressing for English guests. The villa was quiet and a car is definitely needed to stay here for trips out, although there are some daily buses. The village too is very quiet and we only found one good place to eat.
The view is very good but unfortunately the weather during our stay meant we could not really use the lovely terrace.
We particularly enjoyed the cheap local wine and limoncello on sale in the villa!

We had a fantastic stay at the Furore apartment in august. First and foremost, the view from the deck area is stunning. We spent all of our awake time eating, visiting, day trip planning and staring from this unbelievable vantage point. The apartment itself was very clean, spacious and well looked after. The air conditioning worked extremely well without adjustment. I make this comment because the temperature each day of our visit was 40 degrees. I cannot say enough about the hospitality of Caterina and her family - they baked a lemon cake for us one night which we enjoyed a great deal. Caterina's father even offered to drive us to amalfi for an early morning start to Capri - so we would not have to pay for parking in the town. We decided not to sail to Capri however the offer was very generous. Having three separate bedrooms, two full bathrooms and laundry facilities was fantastic. One caution - do not stay here without having a vehicle. The house is almost two kilometers to the Furore townsite and the bus stop. We enjoyed the quiet and peace of being set apart - and the apartment does include a parking spot. Believe me - this is extremely important on the amalfi coast. I will say that you had better enjoy driving to stay here. Furore is off the beaten track and the roads throughout the amalfi coast are very very challenging (narrow, crowded, active and...most fun). We did enjoy the peace and quiet advantages of Furore. We would stay in the Furore apartment again - fantastic experience! You will be in awe once you see the view! - Mark

The villa was a beautiful place to stay. It was very clean and the woman managing the place for the villa was friendly and very gracious and helpful. The welcome wine was a treat but the sponge cake was really special.
The villa had a breathtaking view of the amalfi coast and bay. The rooms were spacious and well furnished. The kitchen was easy to navigate with plenty of utensils, etc. The beds were very comfortable and easy to get a good night;s sleep.
Furoro is a very quiet town, with a few good restaurants, and a few agricultural tourismo restaurants, in particular, Serafina. A treat to go to, and almost walking distance from the villa. We went there twice in one week, and were not disappointed.
Getting the key was a little difficult, and we would have been lost without an international cell phone, a must on a trip like this.
The only real complaint was that there was not enough hot water for the four of us to take showers consecutively. We had to be somewhat creative in our washing skills so everyone had enough hot water. But even that was not too bad. The weather was not warm enough to use the hottub, but you can imagine soaking in the tub looking out on to the amalfi Bay.
