Description

Beautifully furnished stone cottage recently refurbished in seaside colours and theme. Comfortable lounge with smart TV and DVD player, WiFi and dining table.

Very modern and well stocked kitchen with wide range of equipment.

Nicely decorated bathroom with shower over bath.

Sleeps four in two double bedrooms, the main bedroom has a king size bed and the other has a small double bed and they both have wardrobes and chests of drawers.

There is parking outside and the cottage is very close to the harbour and beaches, as well as a large range of shops with some open until 10.

Amble is the perfect location for exploring the beautiful Northumberland Coast and Cheviot Hills.Amble has many facilities including trips to Coquet Island where the puffins and Roseate Terns breed.

There is a regular and reliable bus service going to Newcastle and Alnwick and the East Coast main rail line from Newcastle to Edinburgh stops at Alnmouth.

I am easy to contact by text or phone and my housekeeper lives locally. I will check that you have got in successfully a couple of hours after check in time. There is a key safe and code will be sent the week before your arrival. The safe is easy to work by using two hands. Please ensure the key is replaced in the safe when you leave.

“Lovely cottage”

Donnys cottage is a lovely place to stay, decorated with a beach theme and right next to the harbour area. Very convenient location to explore the Northumberland coast line. The cottage has all of the facilities you need for a family. We have two young children and had everything we needed. Very comfortable beds too.

“Lovely cottage.”

The cottage is spotlessly clean with everything you could wish for, and more. The thoughtfulness of the owner in providing not only toiletries in the bathroom and stuff in the kitchen but also tea, ('proper') coffee, biscuits and even a pint of milk! It made our arrival and short break more enjoyable. There is a small Co-op on the street and a larger one in the town for all your needs. Everything is within walking distance. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. I can't rate this cottage and the village highly enough!
