"We had a wonderful time and got to see lots of wildlife, beavers, ducks, loons, hummingbirds, frogs, squirrels and even a couple of fish I pulled out of the lake. We had some beautiful sunsets on the front deck and some very peaceful reading time down by the bunkhouse."
"It was just what we were looking for. Peaceful and relaxing. Thanks!"
"We had a wonderful time here. The water was always calm. It was great for boating. We loved the bunkhouse. It was quiet and right on the water. We will definitely try to come back next year."
"We enjoyed your cabin. Thanks very much! We had time to row across the lake and to have a nice fire in the stove (that really warmed the place up!) We had lots of time for reading, and time to play guitar and sing (which we rarely do at home). We had time for games and enjoyed both sun and rain. Swimming in the rain was refreshing! Thanks again. We hope to be able to come again."
"Had a great weekend, very relaxing, just what we needed! Went out on the boat a few times, so fun! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful cabin!"
"What a great Thanksgiving! This is a great spot you have here, with access to great paddling and hiking. Thanks so much for opening your cabin to folks like us!"

More about swimming:
We are answering regularly questions about swimming. This is what we say:
Our property is virtually surrounded by Lake Jerry. There is a (very) small beach (rocks and some sand) at the cottage waterfront. Lake water is naturally pure and clean, with a lot of wildlife (a beaver couple, turtles, birds etc.), water bugs, rocks, water lilies and and other plants in the water.
The place is NOT ideal for swimming, although swimming is possible for a swimming enthusiast.

First find Lequille Country store (Irving). Drive West Dalhausie road southwest. About 5.5 km from the Country Store (Irving) you'll see a green sign "Lake Jerry". After this sign drive down and up to hill (200 m). At the TOP of the hill you'll see a SMALL white sign "1167": Turn left here. Take this dirt road on left downwards, and you'll find the camp at the very end of the road. The last Y-turn take left. The dirt road (last 500 m of your journey) is very bumpy, so take it easy!
