Situated midway between Auxerre and Avallon on the N6(D606) in the picturesque Burgundy village of Arcy-sur-Cure, L'Expatisserie offers B & B guests a very warm welcome and extremely comfortable accommodation for single nights or for longer periods.

L'Expatisserie comprises: Les Miches (a family suite with a large double bed and a clic-clac double bed); La Ficelle (perfect for a couple), and La Baguetterie (a very comfortable room with two large single beds). All rooms have en-suite facilities.

Arcy sur Cure is a quiet rural village in the beautiful Cure Valley. in the Yonne department of Burgundy. A historic place, it is mentioned in the early pages of the Larousse History of France owing to its famous Prehistoric painted caves. L'Expatisserie and Le Biscottage are situated in the heart of the village, near the bread/grocery shop. There are nearby restaurants and plenty of opportunities for excellent walking and exploring the lush countryside. The village lies within 20 miles of a variety of famous towns and villages, including world heritage site Vezelay, mediaeval Noyers sur Serein, renowned wine producing Chablis, Avallon, Auxerre, and many other delights, The Cure is popular with anglers and is a delight for canoeists. Horse-riding is available nearby. Parking is in the street, but is safe and there is a train station in the village with direct access at times to Paris a couple of hours away.
