The wooden house is right on the edge of the loch with glorious views. It reminded me of a mobile home. The only downside is that the road is very close on the other side , not a hazard for dogs or children but noisy when the bus appears to stop outside your bedroom. You can't see it but you can hear it!The main bedroom is fine, the other room is cramped and the bathroom is ok but small with shower…

The brochure photo really doesn't do justice to this cottage. It's only about 10 yards from the shore of Loch Linnhe, with views over the isle of Lismore, the loch and the mountains beyond that are constantly changing with the time, tide and weather, and animated by boats and wildlife - just sitting looking out of the window was a real pleasure. Left on Nov 07, 2010 for a stay in August 2010

This cottage has the most beautiful view, even when it is raining. The garden is a very tranquil place to sit and the whole the holiday was very relaxing. The accomodation had every thing you might need except somewhere to dry clothes if the weather was not good. Neighbours were friendly as were most of the locals we met. One of the perfect places

Left on Oct 09, 2012 for a stay in August 2012

Prior to arrival, everything worked well; the agents were excellent with the transaction and instructions.

Looking on Google Earth/ Streetview, the bungalow can be spotted fairly easily.

The cottage itself- well, bungalow- was very clearly a home until recently, as it is all fully equipped and not lacking anything one could need. Decoration and furniture all lovely and relaxing, two very nice …

Wonderful Gingerbread House!

Left on Oct 10, 2010 for a stay in May 2010

We had spent a very busy week in Edinburgh before arriving here...and what a wonderful contrast! Peace and tranquility only interrupted by the cows and wildlife - a real break from the norm! Local to lots of places of interest and within easy reach of Inverary, Oban and ferries for the Islands. Accomodation was very comfortable and had everything you needed - although the skylight in the main …

The old school house is a lovely place to stay. Geography is a spacious well equipped unit with an excellent shower and cooking facilities. The conversion from a classroom has been undertaken to a very high standard and everything is well maintained.
We found it an ideal place to stay with our dogs as it has a large garden and there is a forest walk at the edge of the village.

The 7 day holiday was to take our 9 year old grandson to visit this area following a Ray Mears programme on the Celtic Rain Forest. The lodge was ideal, in a superb position, surrounded by undulaing lawn and with views over the hills. The lodge was well equipped, the beds very comfortable, it was nigh on perfect.
