Description

The house is a geodesic dome with 33 ft high ceilings as you walk in the living room. It is filled with both custom furnishings, live edge console table, stone custom coffee table etc. and art from around the world. The views are amazing through the sunken living room windows and the interior/exterior fireplace there is a favorite. The kitchen is a cooks dream with Typhoon Bordeaux granite counters, and a waterfall effect from the gas range counter. All coffees and teas available as are cooking oils, vinegars and spices galore. The back door takes you to the custom redwood pergola dining area and BBQ. Along the path is also an outdoor shower for use before using the Japanese style cedar soaking tub just off of the deck. Stairs from here take you to the lower patio and the custom fire pit to enjoy the views. The office has a hide a bed for extra guests as well as live edge desk and all internet of course. The master has a Calif. King bed, closets and en suite with large walk in shower. Upstairs is a mezzanine with live edge river desk, and sea views. A child's desk and board games as well. Two bedrooms, one with closet and queen bed, one with two Long twin beds and flat screen tv, closet. A shared bath tub/shower in Travertine with custom counter in Typhoon Bordeaux granite.

Getting around

We are just minutes from the San Luis Obispo airport taking HWY 227 and also a great way to find the dozens of wineries listed on road signs. You can also head out on HWY 101 just a few miles below the house on your way to the beaches. We are centrally located to come and go to all amenities.

Response from the owner Thank you for such glowing comments regarding the property. We also feel that it is superbly located for a holiday home with views to die for. The play area was used for our now grown children and we will see to it's freshening up shortly. As to the fee's that were deducted, the client ASKED me upon booking to deduct the wire transfer fees from their deposit as they wanted the convenience of being able to wire the money for the payment of the rental. These are not my fees, I do not get any money from this. It is the fee that Western Union, Paypal or the credit card company charges.

The Hot tub was not advertised as being available as it is being replaced and so was not intended to be included in the rental. We continue to upgrade the outside landscaping and future clients should see the efforts pay off. Thank you for such a great rating!!
