We are not sure of the origins of the house but the nineteenth century square-plan structure and the imposing exterior staircase suggest a stately home, rather than a farmhouse, with exposed bricks and cross-vaulted ceilings inside. The name comes from a small natural spring found in the garden and expertly restored by the present owners. The expert care during the restoration, the elegance and simplicity of the interior and the splendid location contribute to its almost embarrassing beauty and to its unique charm. This setting is reached by leaving the main road and continuing along a country lane where, as in a sort of time machine, time seems to have stood still, and which leads to the property set on a slope that descends towards the sea, dominating the panorama. Interior Three entrances lead from the garden to the ground floor: two into the living room and one into the kitchen. Here is the immense living room with sitting and TV area and dining area. An archway leads through to the kitchen with its large, working fireplace, to the pantry and to a bathroom with shower. To the left of the living room are two toilets. Next to the bathroom, with entrance from the outside, is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower suitable for persons with limited mobility. The exterior staircase leads up to the first floor (not connected from the interior) where, around a large hall used as a games room, there are two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom with joinable beds, three ensuite bathrooms (two with shower and one with tub), and a laundry room. Please note: If necessary on request with charge of extra cost, it is possible to add up to four single beds in the bedrooms.
Park The 2000 square metre garden is planted with lawn and has a gravel parking area and a stone path which leads to the lower terrace with the pool area. Near the kitchen is a small portico with wood oven and a larger one of about 30 square metres with an outdoor dining area. In front of the main entrance is a grass five-a-side football pitch. Flower beds with shrubs and bushes alternating with large fruit trees frame the whole property.
Swimming Pool The pool has been built in the terrace below the garden and is accessed along a lovely stone path. Fully fenced-in, it is rectangular in shape (14 X 6 m) with a minimum depth of 70 cm and a maximum of 120 cm; it has a paddling pool and Roman steps. The solarium area, with teak flooring and surrounded by lawn, has a splendid view over the Adriatic Sea and the surrounding hills. Sunbeds, umbrellas and a relaxation corner with sofas and piped music piped complete this delightful corner of the property.

The house is located in open countryside, yet only 16 km from the famous "Riviera delle Palme" which extends along the Adriatic coast towards the south. On the riviera guests can choose between sunbathing or strolling along the seafront. Hill lovers can easily reach the old villages of the area such as Ripatransone, Offida and Ascoli Piceno, perhaps while enjoying a good glass of Rosso Piceno which has its best vineyards in this area.
