Description

Frith's Cottage

Located in the centre of the market town of Ashbourne, Frith's Cottage is well situated to explore all that the local area has to offer. Being the gateway to Dovedale, Ashbourne is certainly an excellent venue for those wishing to explore the Derbyshire Dales and Staffordshire moorlands on foot. For those who prefer pedal power, the Tissington Trail starts in town and offers a cycle friendly route to Hartington and beyond.

Ashbourne is well appointed with fine pubs and hostelries, as well as great restaurants and cafes for those wishing to be catered for. Traditional butchers, bakers and an excellent fish and game monger also grace its cobbled streets. Antiques also feature heavily in the town with many antique shops side by side in the well appointed Church Street. Stylish visitors to Frith's Cottage will find sartorial elegance and style in the numerous fashion boutiques and outfitters. Alton Towers is also located nearby if the visceral thrills of a theme park appeal.

Response from the owner Thanks for the review. I've been up this weekend just gone and fixed the light switch and replaced a few lamps and bulbs. Thanks for your feedback during your stay. It's only through this that I can keep the cottage up to spec for future guests.

Response from the owner Thank you so much Janis. I'd given up on the reviews after having some negative feedback from someone who I went out of my way for. It means a lot to me to know people appreciate the effort I put into making Friths Cottage a nice place to stay.
