Lovely Accommodation and great views on a working farm

Left on Jan 10, 2014 for a stay in January 2014

We stayed her over the new year 2013/14 as a group of friends, 2 dogs and a toddler. We were really impressed. It was furnished to a good standard (the photo's don't do it justice). The owners are next door and were really welcoming and friendly, but at the same time will leave you to your own devices if you want them too.

The views and walking in the surrounding area are great and there are…

Very comfortable cottage in great location

Left on Nov 03, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

The cottage is tucked away down a side street very close to the village centre. Very quiet. Don't be put off by no outside parking; you can drop off near the door and park about 50m a way. Askrigg itself is a lovely village with a local shop, deli and two very nice, but completely different in character pubs to drink and eat at. Several very good walks start from the village and it is well placed…

Terrific home in middle of Askrigg; only drawback is tricky parking

Left on Apr 17, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

I stayed recently at this marvellously comfy, well-appointed and pleasingly surprisingly spacious, old stone cottage - 2x double bedrooms.

I was highly impressed by the quality and comfort of everything, the value for money and its handy spot a few moments from the high street and pubs in the middle of Askrigg.

I would recommend everyone to stay here, as it has everything one wants; also as…

Couldn't Ask for more

Left on Sep 15, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

Wonderful well equiped cottage with plenty of space for 3 of us. Denise very helpful and called to make sure we were OK on arrival. Village very well situated with 3 pubs, all doing food and local ales. Lots of walks from the cottage. We did need to light wood burning stove to dry out boots, gave a very cosy feel to the place.
