The House at Thymari location of Anavyssos area is located at the 54th km of the coastal road Athens - Sounio, at just 70 meters from the beach of Thymari. It is built on an one-acre plot, it consists of 2 floors and its surface covers 220 sq.m. The garden occupies most of the land and it is full of fruit trees, a large palm tree, a sycamore tree, various flower beds and wide lawn area. On the side of the entrance there is a sheltered open parking, with a capacity of three (3) large cars. Few words about Thymari location
The settlement of Thyme is one of the most beautiful areas of the Old Phocaea as the spectacular views of the Saronic Gulf from the slopes, the number of green spaces and the beautiful beaches make it an ideal place of permanent and seasonal residence. The settlement took its name from the thyme-filled slopes, extending from the 54th to the 56th km of Athens-Sounion Avenue, while the residences start from the beach and till the area of ​​Agia Fotini, approximately 1.5 km east of the coastline.Before installing the first holidaymakers thyme was a place mainly livestock and farming. Originally Sarakatsani breeders who kept the farms and periodically lived in the area and then the FOKIANOU refugees after distributions of land reclamation and rehabilitation cultivated enough land was not until 1965, the "human" presence in Thyme.

The house is also close to other popular windsurfing spots like Loutsa beach(in which operates the Nissakia windsurfing club) 35 km far, Varkiza beach 20 km far and Lavrion beach 12 km far.

Sightsees
-Cape Sounion(Temple of Poseidon) : approx 15 km far from the house. Visiting the Temple of Poseidon at Sounio is one of the best half-day trips someone can do out of Athens. The Sounio area is found on the tip of Attica peninsula and the Temple, which was dedicated to Poseidon, sits above the beach on a mountain that juts out into the sea.
-Marathon approx 60 km far from the house: Marathon lies on the east coast of Attica, extending from Schiniás(beach & winsurfing spot) by way of Marathon Beach and Néa Makrí to Ayios Andréas and Máti. Apart from the present-day village the name of Marathon is associated with two ancient sites, the Soros (12 m high burial mound raised for the battle against Persians at 490 B.C, ) of the Athenians and the Soros of the Plataeans(It has a diameter of 40m/130ft and stands 4m/123ft high )at Vranás, and with the modern reservoir(Marathon Lake which is surrounded by an extensive pine forest).At the end of the hamlet of Vranás at Marathon is found the Marathon Museum which has a fine collection of local finds

-Lavrio approx 15 km far from the house: Lavrio is a coastial town in southeastern part of Attica. It has the oldest and biggest ancient amphitheater in the country and also was famous in Classical antiquity for silver mining, which was one of the chief sources of revenue of the Athenian state. Today, the washeries where the silver was extracted are still visible and currently in a state of being restored. The main attraction of the town is its scenic port and marina which is a quite lively place full of restaurants, shops and cafes. It is used as a ferry boat hub for the Cyclades Islands and home port for several cruise ships and sailboat charter companies. Be sure to visit the ouzeries-fish taverns in the Lavrion Fish market which have excellent fresh fish. 37 kilometeres to the south of Lavrio is located the Rafina town which has the next most important ferry crosing port after Piraeus.Rafina. It is also famous for its seaside fish tavernas overlooking the port.

Saronida is the most crowded and lively town near to Thymari. It lies 10 km from Thymari house on the Athens–Sounion Road. It is mainly a summer residential area with plenty of amenities, restaurants, bars and market. Saronida is the best option for those who want a good lively nightlife.
Vouliagmeni is a seaside town 30 km west of Thymari area.It is among the most expensive areas in Greece and Europe. It features a great number of stylish and elegant bars, cafeterias and restaurants.
