Great new construction home, located just south of downtown Austin in a newly desired south Austin area. Completed in 2013, the home includes 3 bedrooms, a large office/study space, 2.5 baths, a clean, empty 2 car garage with remote, driveway parking, all new appliances including washer and dryer, and a great covered outdoor patio in the private, fully fenced backyard. Wi-fi, Cable, BBQ pit. The house is over 1900 square feet in size. True craftsmanship shows in this custom home including stained concrete driveway, 18' ceramic tile downstairs, high ceilings throughout, custom interior paint colors, granite counters throughout (including the laundry room), custom kitchen cabinetry, archways, built-in bookcases, and walk-in closets in all bedrooms.
Furnishing the home was completed April 2013, with everything chosen for the guests' comfort and convenience, since this is a property designed strictly for use by short term rental guests. The home is an officially licensed STR (short term rental) property with the City of Austin. OL # (phone: hidden)
The City of Austin requires licensing, but few owners have taken the steps to become licensed.
Upon your arrival you will find nearly everything you need to get your stay off to a great start - all linens, initial toiletries, paper products, and bath products are provided to help make your stay a pleasant one. Numerous small kitchen appliances, a blow dryer, and a makeup mirror are supplied as well. In addition to the three queen beds in the home, a high quality 17" high air mattress with full linens is available upon request (as long as the total no. of guests is not over 6).
The living area boasts a new 55" HD LED television with cable, blu-ray/DVD/CD player, a portable cordless speaker for your iphone, ipod, or mp3 player, comfortable, ample seating, and a number of different games, puzzles, and books, as well as DVDs and blu-ray discs.
The large, open, fully equipped kitchen with new, bottom freezer refrigerator has a breakfast bar with stools, large pantry, granite counters, a great backsplash, custom cabinetry and is outfitted with all the equipment needed for preparing meals, from utensils and pots and pans to baking equipment and small appliances. The adjacent dining area has a table with ample seating for six, including host/hostess chairs. Outside on the covered patio, there's a seating group and table, an easy to use electric grill, and a ceiling fan for your comfort. Barbecue tools are provided. The backyard is fully fenced for privacy, and has a wall of built in seating.
The laundry room is equipped with a new HE washer and dryer, and has a large granite counter for folding laundry. The room carries a supply of laundry soap, fabric softener, and more, including a bag for delicates. A new steam iron and ironing board are included.
Upstairs, the study/loft features lots of cabinets, a built in desk, and is furnished with a desktop computer, large monitor, computer mouse, and numerous small office items. High speed internet via wifi is available throughout the home.
The large master bedroom is fully furnished, has a coffered ceiling with fan, numerous large windows, a huge walk in closet, and a great en suite with garden tub and separate tiled shower, a large linen closet, and dual sinks inset into the granite countertop.
The home is convenient to major freeways, near the bustle of downtown, but situated in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. A city park and adjacent nature preserve are a quick .4 mile walk away. Shopping of nearly every kind, many restaurants, and public transportation are very close by. Looking for activities or a specific destination? The State of Texas and the City of Austin require us to collect a total of 15% taxes (9% City, including a 2% venue tax, and 6% for the State) for all stays that are shorter than 30 DAYS. These taxes are due on same dates as other stay payments.

for stays of 30 days or less; the 9% for the city includes a 2% venue tax.
No tax is payable on stays (consecutive days) of 30 days or more.

If your travel dates are far enough off, we may be able to work with you on a payment schedule for deposits and rental fees, taxes, etc.,

We take up to six guests, but may charge extra amounts for over four guests.
We do not take over 6 guests; any person(s) not on rental agreement staying on property
is violation of rental agreement, and puts traveler(s) deposit at risk. Same is true for

Our family of 6 really enjoyed staying in this impeccably clean and comfortable home for the last 4 months. We couldnt have asked for a more perfect place to be in as we transitioned ourselves into Austin.
Suzanne and Wayne were absolutely wonderful people to work with. They took great care in providing the home with all the necessities! Also, they really personalized our welcome with small toys and candy for our children.
I was most impressed with how exceptionally clean and well supplied this home was. It was a well stocked kitchen with pots, pans and essentials for cooking and baking. They also had all of the basic essentials of soap, shampoo, laundry and dish soap for us to use. It was perfect for our family since we just moved here.
The Pikes were great at giving us all the amenities nearby. We were particularly looking for a pool and they provided us an extensive list to choose from.
We highly recommend this place!! You won't be disappointed! Thank you Wayne and Suzanne for making our move to Austin a great one!!

We are a family with 2 kids. We enjoyed 3 months in this perfect home.
The home was everything we could have asked for and much more.
Bedrooms are big, beds are excellent, well decorated and more than enough room for everyone.
The kitchen is also big and fully equipped with all new modern accessories you need.
Back yard is wonderful, our girls loved playing there. We enjoined sitting outside in the covered area and using the bbq.
The home has a spacious garage that easily accommodates two cars.
What makes this house an absolute gem is the wonderful homeowners.
Suzanne and Wayne made everything in their power to make our stay comfortable. We felt right at home, and were super lucky to know these super generous, kind, loving and intelligent folks.
The homeowners, who live next door, made sure that everything, up to the smallest detail, is ready and available for us, while making sure our privacy and space is respected.
The best neighbors you can wish for!
The location is great! Only 10 minutes to downtown, everything you need is nearby. Close to highway.

We had the pleasure of staying in this new home for 5 weeks while our home was renovated after a flood. With 2 small children we were more than comfortable! Great spacious floor plan, new and super clean, large kitchen, great fenced in & safe yard for kids, close to a super park, large 2 car garage and plenty of extras. Easy access to everything in austin, yet a quiet place to call home while you are staying. Thanks for accommodating our family and being so helpful!

Wow! This townhome was impeccably clean, very roomy and was in the perfect location. Five of us stayed with plenty of extra room. Shopping, restaurants very near but still nice and quiet. My kids loved being able to go outside in the backyard. Dad loved being able to keep the car in the private garage while there!
