Beautiful quiet cottage on the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton at the foot of the highlands, in particular the protected wilderness area. Lots of hiking trails available. Swimming at the Lake O law, fishing in the Middle River. Well located twenty minutes from the village of Baddeck, and twenty minutes from Margaree.

Bird watching, Music , overall enjoying wild life.

The cottage is roomy, you could sleep six comfortably. kitchen and deck. Beautiful views.

Goldbrook cottage is situated right on the Cabot Trail. Perfectly located twenty minutes between Baddeck ( the jewl of the Cabot Trail)) Home to Alexander Graham Bell's museum and world renown for sailors and twenty minutes to the Margaree river known for the best fishing. Five minutes drive to the Lake O Law where you can swim or canoe in its clean and calm waters. Here you can enjoy miles of hiking to the highlands and around the Middle river where fish also abound. If you are a fan of celtic music, from June to October there is an endless stream of activities of concerts and ceilighs all around.
It is a quiet place, where you might see the deer grazing in the pasture at dawn, and where many species of birds can be enjoyed.
You will want to take a drive around the whole Cabot Trail, a marvel of beauty, go on a whale watch or simply laze a day at the beach until the sunsets over the sea.
If you want to cross country ski, come in the winter and we will guide you for miles of trails in the clean white snow.
