Description

Charlie's is a three star farm cottage situated near the village of Armoy, Co.Antrim. We are a suitable venue for families and their pets, also walkers, cyclists, anglers and golfers. We are within walking distance of the Gracehill Golf Club and the newly opened Hedges Restaurant. The Dark Hedges where Game of Thrones was filmed is also within easy reach.Central to the Northern Coastal Route we are barely six miles from the historic seaside town of Ballycastle. You may also plan a visit to nearby Ballintoy, have a coffee down at the Harbour and then go on to the Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge. Walking on the beach at Whitepark Bay is also very popular. Soon you will be at the Giant's Causeway where the new Visitors' centre is in now open.Not forgetting the old town of Bushmills with it's many coffee shops and of course The Old Bushmills Distillery.Onwards is the village of Portballintrae with a lovely little beach and so the coastal Route goes on...To the North East of Ballycastle are the famous nine Glens of Antrim - another outstanding area of natural beauty. Take the coast road to Cushendun and Cushendall and on to Waterfoot and the Queen of the Glens - Glenarrif - you will not be disappointed.You can do all the usual things while on holiday here but if you are interested in history or horses, you can go trekking at Sheans Horse Farm which is closeby. Here you may trek or ride as you please and learn some of the local history - all about the legendary Sorley Boyand the battles which took place.

“Great wee cottage! Dog friendly”

Lovely 2 weeks here. 10 mins drive to Ballycastle and it’s delightful coffee shops/pubs and fabulous beach. Short walk to dark hedges. Cottage has everything you need. Clean and well appointed. Anne is very helpful. We loved bringing our dog and would definitely return.

“Lovely cottage”

This cottage has everything you need, it is very clean and very comfortable. We had a lovely stay here for a week and enjoyed the cottage and our stay in Northern Ireland immensely. I highly recommend both.

Thanks Anne, cottage great. Will be back, hopefully for the Armoy road race next year, perhaps before then. TV a bit iffy, but I suppose a 52 inch LCD would just spoil the whole experience.

How do damage deposits work?
