Beautifull house, unbeatably situated within the metropolitan area of Barcelona and in the midst of the Collserola Reserve.(still with zone 1 subway)
The house is ideal for combining work and holidaying, creativity and culture activities or simply enjoying moments of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Consisting of two-floors, the house is spacious and comfortable. On the upper floor there are 3 bedrooms and a small studio, a bathroom and a terrace with lovely, parkland views. On the lower floor there is a self-contained single bedroom, equipped with a shower; a living room with a sofa-bed; an American style kitchen-dining room; and a hall. A spacious garden terrace surrounds the house which is itself, surrounded by mixed woodland and attractive villas. On the garden terrace there are numerous spots in which to relax and read, chat, play table-tennis or make bar-b-ques. Surrounded as it is by trees, the house is cool and fresh on summer nights.

“Beautiful villa in a beautiful spot”
Great location for trips into the city on the train and into the surrounding country. Great house and grounds. Loved playing ping pong with our kids. Very hot in August though.

“We loved this house and location”
Lovely traditional house, generous space inside and out, fantastic views. Enjoyed breakfast inder the mulberry tree. Rural village location but a short train ride to Barcelona centre. Well worth the short, steep walk up from the station and the steps up to the house. Cristina and Ursula were very helpful, before and during our stay, providing all the information we needed, giving us a lift up from the station with our luggage when we arrived and shopping for our first breakfast.

“Perfect stay!”
A friend having stayed here recommended renting the property, and we had an excellent stay. To return to the house after a long, hot day of never-ending touristic tours were enjoyable moments, at last breathable air and tranquility. At night a blanket on the bed was still necessary . I love this contrast! I was also impressed by the condition of the house itself: despite being oldish, everything was clean and cared for. We were a group of friends and we were all content with our stay. The children of our friends played continually in the grounds, having a really good time. Closeby, we were able to see wild boar and much bird-life. We hired a car and ended up hardly using it as the station is nearby, where the metro sevice is frequent and in a short time you are in the Ramblas. The owner was civilized and gave us good advice. We will return and moreover, recomend it to our friends

I will try to clear up some of them, which I think are due to a misunderstanding. Firstly, unfortunately, this year in May there was a heat-wave out of season, and like many people, I was not prepared for this; this meant that the mosquitos came earlier than usual. I am very sorry, I tried to put up the mosquito net and I phoned you several times and you said that everything was OK. So you didn´t give me the chance to solve the problem. I always try to leave the house as clean as possible, so the issues that you mentioned surprise me. I have taken steps with the cleaning staff to assure that this doesn’t happen again. Secondly, concerning the steps, I can confirm that in Holiday Lettings’ amenities of the house it states very clearly that the house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Furthermore, in the photos you can see that the house is on a hill. Also if you read the other reviews, many of them mention this fact. Thirdly, my house has a tourist license. The number can be found on the web page. Next, each bedroom has two electricity sockets. If you needed adaptors you could have asked me for them. The five tip-advisers refer to and measure the price and quality; they are not stars which measure the level of luxury. I have never claimed the house was a five-star luxury house, however I do the best I can and have had some terrific reviews from many people Finally, for your two weeks’ stay you paid €2,000 euros, not 2,000 pounds. There is a 600 euro difference. I give the same answer for the 3 reviews because you come together and you feel the same Sorry again I hope one day I can do something to compensate your inconvenience best regards Beatrizchice@gmail.com
