Makai at Tomakin/Barlings Beach is a brand new pet friendly, fully fenced, 3 bedroom house, only 400m from Barlings Beach and with a short stroll to 2 other beaches. Fitted with all brand new furniture and beds, free Wi-Fi access and theatre room.
Makai (which means by the sea, in Hawaiian) at Tomakin/Barlings Beach is a brand new pet friendly, fully fenced, 3 bedroom house with lots of the modern conveniences of home, only 400m from Barlings Beach and with a short stroll to 2 other beaches. We understand your pet is a part of your family, as is ours, and house trained pets are welcome inside the house. In the interest of hygiene and comfort for your pet, please bring their own beds as we do not supply them. Tomakin Beach is also a dog friendly beach all year round!
Everything in this beautiful house is brand new, none of the usual hand me down furniture, beds and crockery. Modern luxury and convenience has been factored into the entire house.

The house was built with a north/south orientation to allow the lovely morning sun into the family areas and take advantage of the beautiful ocean breeze when you open the front and rear doors. The entire house has fly screens so you can let the outside in without unwanted flying visitors!
The master bedroom is huge and lots of light, a walk in wardrobe and it's own ensuite with shower, basin and toilet. The screened sliding door allows direct access to the alfresco dining area but still maintains your privacy. Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed and Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds.
Please bring your own linen. Pillows and doonas with covers are provided. We do have an optional high quality linen service at additional cost. Linen service is charged at $50 per room and you will receive the following;
- Sheridan Egyptian cotton fitted sheet, top sheet and 2 pillowcases
- Sheridan cotton towels including 2 bath towels, 2 face washers, a hand towel and bath mat
- 1 Kitchen tea towel per stay
With open plan living the main feature of this beautiful house connecting the kitchen, dining and family room through the stacker sliding doors to the outdoor under cover alfresco dining area.
A fully appointed kitchen with stone bench tops, dishwasher, large 5 burner stainless steel gas cooktop and wide electric oven. Under bench sink for easy cleaning and a separate built in water filter tap for delicious drinking water. Almost every utensil and plenty of non-stick pots, pans and even a coffee plunger. With plenty of space and a full length pantry, cooking will be a breeze.
The family and theatre rooms have quality couches for your comfort. Both rooms are fitted with 50" LED TVs and Sony Blu-ray players which also double as media players for movies and shows on your USB device. The Blu-ray players are connected to the Sony entertainment network with lots of channels that stream movies, TV & kids shows (including ABC for kids) direct from the internet. Netflix is available on both TVs.
The second bathroom contains a shower, toilet, basin and a large deep bath to accommodate almost any size! The laundry has a washing machine and dryer with sliding door access to the side of the house.
You'll love undercover alfresco area with the large aluminium & glass 6 person outdoor setting and a Weber Q BBQ. The morning sun hits the area perfectly for breakfast and is shaded as the heat of the day approaches.
