Description

Nestled in the rear courtyard of Devonshire House B&B, Laburnum Cottage provides a welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of the World Heritage City of Bath. Enter through a stable door directly into a fully fitted kitchen with dining area for four. The kitchen is equipped with oven, hob and fridge freezer, along with a coffee machine and microwave. A short hall leads to the open plan lounge with comfy sofaTV, DVD & CD player and docking station. A selection of games, CD's and DVD's are provided along with free Wi Fi, roof windows create a light and airy space.

A newly refurbished shower room is situated off the hall. Go up the spiral staircase to reach a double bedroom within an open gallery overlooking the living room. A toilet and wardrobe are on this mezzanine level, which has a sloped ceiling, low on each side.

The cottage has its own patio, with garden furniture for four, surrounding a small pond and waterfall. Perfect for al fresco dining or simply enjoying a good book from the selection provided. A secure parking space is provided with the cottage, enabling you to either decide to leave the car securely and take the twenty minute stroll into town or drive to your destination.

Pets are welcome with a £15 extra cleaning charge per pet to be paid on arrival.

A perfect retreat for a romantic break, a city getaway or a historic weekend.

Getting around

Arriving by train, take a taxi up to us for around £7 or hop on a bus (an all day ticket is around £4.50) we are on a major bus route with buses every 10 minutes or so. Arriving by car, Laburnum Cottage has its own secure car park, so leave your car and take the 20 minute walk into town, we'll give you the directions when you check in. We can recommend small coach tours of the local area which take in some of the outstanding sites further afield.

We are normally here to greet you when you arrive and show you around the cottage. We can give you tips and advice about Bath and the surrounding area and ensuring you get as much out of your stay as you want.

Really nice property, one of the best information guides received prior to our arrival, handy to walk into Bath, it was great to park the car securely and leave it for the length of our stay
