Overall the villa exceeded our expectations. The gardens, setting, and views were amazing. The location was central to most of the things we wanted to see and do in Provence. We are already talking about returning!!
The warm, homey feeling of the villa and the incredible outdoor gardens and sitting areas. The attention to detail inside and out was very impressive! Although the water was too cool to swim in, the pool was gorgeous and we did spend time poolside enjoying the incredible views and tranquil setting. Roger, the property manager, was extremely friendly and attentive. He always wanted to please!
Although it's hard to find anything negative, it would be helpful to have more of the kitchen-related dishes in the kitchen, rather than making frequent trips into the dining room.
All the charming little towns and friendly people. We all collect wine, so we did a lot of wine touring, which was also very enjoyable.

This place is delightful - probably the best villa we've ever rented.
It was spacious, well furnished and beautifully landscaped. The owners are charming and gracious and were helpful in finding us a babysitter. We also had one dinner prepared by a chef which was expensive but worth it.
The air conditioning in some of the bedrooms did not work properly. Also, the access to the pool over rocky terrain was a bit hazardous for the young and the old.
It is convenient to many attractions such as Avignon, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Vaison la Romaine.

The overall experience was wonderful. The owners are very deligthful and gave a thorough orientation of the house upon arrival. They completely left us alone but were available if we needed anything.
The setting, landscaping, outdoor areas for eating and the pool are the highpoints of the house.
The water in the shower in the master bath was always very hot and I was unable to sort out how to add cold water to balance the temperature.
There was a crack in the glass in the second bathroom which the owner claimed wasn't there upon our arrival. My daughters insisted they did not bang the glass, lean on it or fall against it. In any event, I paid the estimate which was provided in the amount of approximately 700.00. This may have been our fault but no one experienced anything involving putting extra pressure on the glass to cause a crack and we did not look that closely at those kinds of things upon arrival.
It was very peaceful and beautiful and calm. Extremely pleasant and private.

Overall we enjoyed the property. The grounds were well kept and the interior of the property was clean and tidy.
It was clean and well maintained.
The house was not close to the village Beaume De Venice; it was on the outskirst. You could not walk for a morning coffee and pastry; you had to drive. We even had bikes and it was a good bike ride to the town.
There were only 4 of us renting the property. If 6 of us were staying at the house the seating around the living room would not comfortably accommodate all. Two of the bedrooms did not have pillows to sleep on. We had to use the decorative pillows which were uncomfortable.
Everything. Wine, ruins, visiting all the surrounding towns. Riding all over the area.

The Villa in Provence was absolutely wonderful. The stay was a dream -beautiful house, lovely weather with sun and a cool breeze. We would go back in a heartbeat.
The location of the chateau on a beautiful hillside with a view was amazing. The plants and flowers around the property made us feel like we were in the Garden of Eden. The property is meticulously cared for by the owners, and the pride in the property shines through.
The pool and jacuzzi, though lovely, were quite cold. Swimming even on the hotter days was like jumping in the polar bear plunge.
There were so many wonderful day trips for families and grown ups alike -all within an hour or so. Mont Ventoux take your bike if you can!, Vineyards with tasting caves all around, the Pont du Gard only 1 hour away, beautiful villages of Crillon de Brave, Carpentras, Gordes - all breathtaking.

This was our first experience using a rental property for our family holiday and found the experience fantastic. It allowed us to be together in the evenings for dinners, which we cooked in their modern, well equipped kitchen. We also all enjoyed our mornings on the terrace with our coffee and fresh pastries from the nearby town. The space allowed us - my daughter and her husband and baby and my husband and I - to each have our own sections of the house and therefore tons of privacy when wanted.
The grounds were spectacular with all the plantings. We loved eating all of our dinners outside on one of the terraces.
There is really nothing that we did not like about this property. The only thing was that we did not make use of the pool because the weather was a bit too chilly for it, but that was expected at the time of year we chose for this rental. I'm sure during the summers, you would not even want to leave.
The mountain towns that surround this rental property are the most picturesque and idyllic. If you do your research, you will find a market each day of the week, all in different towns.
The villa was in easy driving distance to many historic sights, as well as the Luberon region.
The area was filled with wineries open for tastings which we enjoyed as well.

It is beautifully maintained and the owners are very gracious and helpful. They kindly brought us some Muscat and Rose during our stay, and had a few necessities juice, water, melon for us in the fridge when we arrived. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return to this property.
Everything! The home was the perfect size for our family of 5. The yard and gardens were beautiful and very private. The kids loved the pool. The house is really beautifully decorated in a very Provencal style.
Everything was really wonderful. The kids were a bit disappointed that the "spa""hot tub" wasn't actually heated, but that certainly didn't keep them out of the water! A dryer for the laundry would have been a bit more convenient than line-drying, but we just had to allow some extra time for hanging clothes and letting them dry.
We loved exploring the local sites--Fountain de Vaucluse and canoeing on the Sorgue river, picnicking and cliff-jumping at the Pont-du-Gard, going to some of the local carnivals, going to the Carpentras market. We also enjoyed wine tasting and wine shopping in Chateauneuf du Pape; go at the beginning of your stay so you have time to drink your purchases! and going to the Bernard Castelaine chocolate factory store.

The house is comfortably appointed, with multiple places to dine outside or inside, in sun or shade. The owners could not be more charming. They left a platter of fruit and a bottle of Muscat on our arrival and dropped off another bottle of Rose during the week. They are real local people and can answer any questions about the area. The pool is great, but may not be enjoyable unless the weather is warm, as it isn't heated. It was fine for us, however.
The gardens are spectacular. The pool is perfect.
The master bedroom could be more private; it looks out over the driveway. The neighbors were doing some construction work at times, although the noise was not excessive.
Everything. Above all, going to local farmers' markets and restaurants.
