Dancing Fox Cabin is in keeping with our circa 1842 farmstead home ambiance. Often early settlers would erect a simple cabin on the same property prior to building a more permanent home and Dancing Fox Cabin is a reflection and our vision of one of those early structures.

Dancing Fox Cabin and Harpster-Davenport Guest House are located in the rural outskirts of Bellevue, Ohio. Being only 10 minutes from town, you are convenient to the restaurants, shopping, groceries, gas and a host of other things that make it convenient for your stay. Also, the quaint town of Bellevue is a wonderful location to stay because you are in the heart of all of the Northern Ohio Lake Erie region of "things to do and see". In any direction you choose to wander off into, you have Cleveland for the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame and Stadium to the east only 45 minutes, Cedar Point, the islands and Lake Erie amenities to the north 20 minutes, Fremont with the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Home and Museum amongst many other amenities to see and do and to the south is the largest concentration of Amish communities in the United States only 40 minutes away.
Immediately here in Bellevue, are many attractions to enjoy as well. The largest rail yard in State of Ohio and is the 2nd Largest in the United States soon to be the 1st largest by summer of 2015 which offers a covered viewing platform to sit and set up your camera to see 100 trains pass by per day. Also, their Mad River Railroad museum is open to view restored train cars and engines too. Seneca Caverns is here, Sorrowful Mother of Shrine with a beautiful walk through their forest gardens, Historical Pioneer Lyme Village and more is all within 10 minutes of us. Within 10 minutes from us, you can jump on Rails to Trails bike path for a long excursion from town to town. We do offer secure shelter if you choose to bring your bicycles.
