Description

This detached Cumberland and sleeps four people in two bedrooms.The Lookout is terraced cottage on the outskirts of Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms which are made up of a super king-size double which can be a twin on request, and a double room. There is also a bathroom, a kitchen with a dining area, walk-in pantry and a sitting room which both have multi-fuel stoves. Outside there is roadside parking and a front patio with furniture and a barbecue as well as bike storage. The beach is only a 10 minute walk away and the cottage is pet-friendly. The Lookout is an ideal cottage for that long awaited coastal break.

Amenities: Gas central heating with multi-fuel stoves. Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 1 x TV with Freeview, radio, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stoves inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for one car on a first come first served basis. Front patio with furniture and BBQ on request. Bike storage. Sorry, no smoking or Pets. Shop and pub 5 mins walk (0.5 miles). Beach 10 mins walk. Note: No children under 10 for insurance purposes. Note: Access to the property is via a shared access pathway. There are a series of gradual low steps (11 in all) going past the front of the neighbour's house with a continuous hand rail to the gate of The Lookout.

Please note: this property has a good house keeping bond of £100.

Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrians Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Town: Berwick is Englands most northerly town and changed hands 13 times whilst the English and the Scots fought for control of the Borders! Nowadays this small coastal town retains much of its charm, with quaint narrow streets enclosed within great Elizabethan walls - walks along these offer spectacular views over the coast and river estuary.

A lovely, spacious,detatched cottage looking over the river tweed estuary and out to sea. The cottage sleeps four plus one dog, is very well equipped and is in a good position for walking to the beach… More
