Description

The "Big Bear Quonset Lodge" is a one-of-a-kind cabin in Big Bear City. This welcoming lodge is surrounded by tall pines, a large entertaining deck perfect for an outdoor BBQ or just to relax and be one with nature. Enjoy a peaceful getaway with proximity to ski slopes, the lake, shops, dining and plenty of hiking trails.

Unlike other cottages or cabins, our unique Quonset Hut Lodge is a fully equipped house intended to provide all the comforts of home. We have a fully stocked kitchen with all of the necessary appliances, microwave, oven, cook top, flatware, glasses (regular, juice, wine and beer), bakeware, coffeemaker, toaster, Keurig and a full-size refrigerator.

We offer our guests free WiFi, cable television, phone with free local calls, board games and a beautiful outdoor deck with BBQ, covered patio and picnic table.

This home is suitable for couples, small families (sleeps 4) or friends needing a short getaway to enjoy nature, outdoor activities or just relax by the fire. Our home is a truly relaxing experience.

Our home includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a mudroom to offload your gear after a long day on the slopes and a full size washer and dryer.

Please plan accordingly during the winter months, especially in snow conditions. Chains may be required during this time.

Response from the owner Thanks for enjoying your stay at our house. I am so sorry for your bad experience with Flipkey and your deposit reimbursement. As far as we are aware, this has never happened before to any of our guests and I truly believe this was a result of their recent system upgrade. Unfortunately, we as owners have no control over the deposit as it is all held by Flipkey. We never see any of that money unless for some reason we file a claim if there is any damage. We are truly at their mercy as to the timing of their reimbursement which is typically within their estimated timeframe. We are hoping that this was an isolated incident and won’t happen again. I am sad the experience with the booking company put a negative tone on your family getaway. We have sent a complaint to Flipkey addressing this incident. We hope you will visit us again.
