We took a trip to Big Bear as a family reunion. The house was beautiful and accommodated everyone perfectly. The kids loved the playroom with bunk beds. The living room was beautifully designed and welcomed every activity (cooking, talking, movies, card games, etc..).
The homeowners provided very clear check in instructions and how to use the amenities. We had no problems with house.
For skiers, the house is 100 yards from Bear Mountain Ski Lodge. Perfect.

The place is absolutely beautiful, spacious n comfortable. Ive stayed at different luxury resorts and this place is great and awesome ! We were there for our big families vacation and had an amazing wonderful time. This cabin is big, we have total 2 kids, 2 babies and 8 adults ! The kids room downstairs is perfect to entertain the kids, and the poker table was fun for adults. Our friend came to join with us the second day we were there, she and her two girls and one little boy, they were so amaze by this place. We all love the spa Jacuzzi in the patio, its awesome after a long day snowboarding. Larry, the owner of this place was very quick in responding to our questions, wonderful person and very helpful. We are very glad that we stayed here for three days two nights. Everyone were Happy ! Thank you so much Larry, Defy will stay here again for our next big bear trip.

For my 30th Birthday, I wanted something fun, intimate and mellow to celebrate with my family and friends. We searched for cabins and the important thing to me was the location to be close to Bear Mountain since we all wanted to snowboard. I came across the Lassen Lodge and immediately fell in love with this place. They are located right on the mountain of Big Bear and all we had to do was walk over to snowboard. This place is beautiful and spacious also. The best part was how nice and accomodating the owners were to us. Larry and Deanna, we are already planning another trip back. I had an amazing birthday! Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home with us.

When we were searching for cabins and came across the Lassen Lodge, we just fell in love with the pictures. First off, the place is more beautiful than what you will see online. Very cozy and cute. Oh the view! It is literally a block away from the slopes. Loved the fact that kitchen was fully equipped, felt like we were home. Anyone that's looking to spend as much time as possible skiing or snowboarding, this is the place to stay. While few family members enjoyed their time snowbording, the rest of us stayed in but honestly, even staying inside was enjoyable. Thank you Larry and Deanna for the beautiful place, we will definitely be back!

This place, from the moment you pull up, you just get a sense of "Oh, this'll be good!" Walking up the stairs to the open spacious living room just confirms that. You don't even have to walk into any of the other rooms, you immediately get a sense of "Ahh, I'm home!" When I'm back in Big Bear, I will certainly email abkout this cabin, if it's available. If it's not, I will wait until it is.
If I had an issue, all I had to do was call Larry, and he had someone come out and look at it, and, all was made whole. (I only had to call one time, and, it actually wasn't a necessity, I was just calling to inform him of something, and he sent someone out to correct it. No harm, no foul.
Another perk to this home, is it's right at the base of the ski slope. Hello? Not having to pay for parking, or, any of that? Perfection.
Thanks again, Larry & Deanna. Amazing home, you have. And, we will certainly be back.

We recently stayed at Lassen Lodge and had a great time! It is right across from Bear Mountain, close to stores, and the village! Everything you need for a fun Big Bear experience! The only down side to this property was all the stairs/spilt level, we took my mother-in-law and had we know about all the stairs we would not have chosen this house. Aside from that it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Larry and Deanna were great to deal with! Thanks for sharing your home:)

It was our second stay at Lassen Lodge. We had a great experience in our first visit and decided to stay here again with no doubt for our small group church retreat.
Our group loved Lassen Lodge and this was a great place that felt like home.
Larry (owner) was very friendly and prompt in responding our inquiries. We are so spoiled and can't stay at another cabin/lodge in Big Bear. Will definitly come back again!

Lassen Lodge was the best place we have stayed so far at Big Bear. The house is beautiful and cozy. We only had two vehicles but could have easily parked two more. There was plenty of room for our children and two grandchildren. Everything we needed was provided. The kids loved the games and having their own room. Us adults loved having the spa and upstairs living area. We were such a short walking distance from Bear Mountain that we came home to get snacks and lunch. We were able to watch the grand kids take snowboarding lessons from the front balcony. This is truly a great place to stay if you are visiting Bear Mountain.

This excellent slope side home is recently renovated and has the feel of a high tech hotel and at the same time reminds me of a classic ski lodge. The hottub is steaming hot on the back deck. Every room has flat screen tvs. The kid's room has pinball and foosball. These were especially nice touchs. There is a wet bar for adults to enjoy. The main room is huge and that's where everyone gathers with the open kitchen adjacent.
We stay with three other families with two kids per family. The kids have a blast being together every time we go.
The lodge is also walking distance to the entrance to Bear Mountain and that is very cool.

We stayed at Lassen Lodge for our bi-annual family vacation and had an amazing time. The home was perfect for going to Bear Mountain since it was directly across the street. The Wild Life Park is down the street. The home is absolutely beautiful, spacious, & comfortable. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kids room downstairs is perfect to entertain the kids. We had a blast playing pinball and foosball. The family room/main floor was the best. It is so spacious and a great place for the entire family to hang out. You can watch movies, play games, entertain, etc...all on the same floor. It has all the amenities for a perfect vacation. We definitely plan on having our family vacation there again.

We had a wonderful weekend at the cabin. Our children loved the game room and the pingpong table. The garage is big enough for them to ride their scooters/bike/roller skates. They even went up hiking and saw a pack of coyotes.
The poker table was fun for us adults to use at night after the kids fell asleep. This cabin has practically everything you need in the kitchen, even a pizza pan. The bathroom amenities felt like you're staying at a hotel.
Larry, the owner, was very quick in responding to our questions and gave helpful ideas for things to do with the kids.
Thanks for letting us stay there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely return.

The house has everything we needed. It was beautifully decorated and fully furnished and sparkling clean. Great location right in the heart of things. We enjoyed the hot tub at night under the star-filled sky, grilled a great dinner on the grill, enjoyed our morning coffee on the front deck, played the games provided, watched movies on the 60" plasma TV. Everything was clearly marked so if we had questions about how to do anything it was all right there spelled out for us. Can't wait to go back.

Rented Lassen Lodge recently with five of my girlfriends from college. We were blown away with this place. It has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the front deck and relaxed each evening in the hot tub on the back deck. The spacious kitchen accommodated many cooks at one time. The bedrooms and bathrooms are as nice as any five star hotel. The mountain decor added to the Big Bear experience. I would definitely stay here again.

The Lassen Lodge was a perfect place for our "girls reunion/vacation". It's beautifully and comfortably furnished. The pictures do not do it justice. The lodge had everything we needed--plus! It's very easy to get to town, the slopes the lake, etc. It has plenty of space for lots of friends to relax in comfort.

Lassen Lodge proved an ideal place for a gathering of friends recently. The spacious shared living areas offered ample opportunities for relaxing and gathering with friends. The gourmet kitchen is well appointed and excellent for creating group meals. The variety of beds and bedrooms offers configurations sure to suit groups with couples and/or families. When we finally decided to leave the comfort of Lassen Lodge, we discovered that Big Bear Lake offers activities to suit a variety of fitness and interest levels. One caveat: Due to the many stairs in Lassen Lodge, it might not be suitable for those with mobility challenges. All in all, a lovely respite.

Our stay at Lassen Lodge was perfect! It had all the comforts of home and more. Most importantly was the cleanliness and "like-new" condition. It was exactly what the pictures displayed. The location was excellent! I would definitely stay there again.

What a beautiful place to stay! We went with two other couples and had so much fun. We each had our own "master bedroom and bath". The home is very luxurious and comfortable. There was room for games, reading in the great room or outside, or spending time in the hot tub. We definitely want to go back.

The Big Bear home is great for 2-3 families and is within walking distance to the slopes. The open upstairs living area offers lots of space and options for everyone's taste. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with modern appliances. Large wrap around deck with hot tub. 2 large upstairs bedrooms, one large downstairs bedroom plus dorm with pinball and foosball table. Great area for the kids. Large garage on this level to store all the items we brought. We are looking forward to retruning to Lassen Lodge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lassen Lodge. The home is beautifully decorated, spacious, and has all the amenities while being in the perfect location. We look forward to returning for winter skiing as the location can't be beat. Walk across the street to board the lifts and ski to the bottom of the slopes and have lunch at home without the need to board a shuttle or fight the traffic. Jacuzzi away the cold and then play some ping pong, board games, chess, or just watch a good movie. Relax on the balcony while viewing the slopes. It doesn't get any better than this!

We had a wonderful time!! The home was so spacious and comfortable for our group of 8. The kitchen had everything we could need. The great room had a large flat screen TV and a game table. All the bedrooms had Tv's. The downstairs had a game room with pin ball and foos ball, plus a ping pong table in the garage! The back deck has a hot tub and we were just steps away from the ski slopes. Will definitely come back in the winter to take advantage of that!
