This home is absolutely gorgeous ! The view from it is also amazing. Wake up in the morning to the sun coming in from floor to ceiling windows - it was really spectacular ! The house is high up, a bit remote to get to, but worth the trip up the rough road ! Everything in the home is high end. Every convience you could ask for, including a hot tub on the deck ! We loved it and will return !!

"our" mountain home vacation was wonderful. It certainly is out of the way. We thought at first that we might be lost. The road going to the cabin is more like a cow path, but when you get to the house it is amazing. The directions given by Mountain Vacation Homes Rentals are right on. You should not depend on GPS to find this wonderful gem. The views are beautiful. It was a very relaxing place to be. It is about 1 hr. 15 min. away from Yellowstone. The ride to Yellowstone was very relaxing with wonderful views. The house had all the modern conveniences you could ask for. Washer, Dryer, big screen TV with satellite. The kitchen had everything and more that you needed. The only thing my husband and I noticed was some of the cleanliness of the home. There were cobwebs everywhere. I understand that some of the places the cobwebs were might have been difficult to reach because of the vaulted ceilings, but we saw many around curtain rods and lamp shades, baseboards, and windows. The range hood was covered with grease. My husband cleaned the inside of the windows, in the living room, because you could not see the beautiful view very well.
Even though the house was not cleaned the way we would like to have it we would still recommend this home for a relaxing time away. Enjoy

Had a great stay and the views were great! The only complaints I might have about this home is the road to get to it and the small tv in the master bedroom! Everything was well stocked in the kitchen even though quit a few of the spices were expired. Any problems we had were quickly taken care of and even got to witness a mini blizzard early one morning! Would highly recommend this place for a quiet get away!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The cabin was beautiful inside and out. All the kitchen appliances were of the best quality. We found the cabinets were stocked with many spices and seasonings, a pleasant surprise. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all lovely with very comfortable beds. The hot tub was a definite plus for those cool nights. Of course the view was magnificent! Of all the cabins around, this one had the very best location. It was at the very top of the ridge, not near any others, looking over the valley. Breathtaking!
The towns nearby (Ennis and Virginia City) were welcoming and cute. If you're looking for a vacation with a big city, lots of shopping and restaurants...this is not your place. But for those traveling like we were, there for the scenery and willing to cook, there couldn't be a more perfect place. We will definitely be returning to this very cabin for another stay soon. We loved it!

Madison Valley Overlook is a great place to stay with a excellent view. The home is out of this world. Ruff road getting to the home, however it is worth it. A little far to travel back and forth to Yellowstone National Park, however we would stay there again, given the chance.

The cabin location provides a beautiful view of the Madison Valley and the mountains. The sun rise over the mountain is great. This is about 1 and 1/2 hours to Yellowstone but fishing is great in the Madison Valley. Take the opportunity to visit Virginia City and Nevada City for old west town settings. If you want peace and quiet this is the place to be.
