The rental staff was extremely communicative and responsive, and were even there to greet us upon our arrival. The house was gorgeous and stocked with everything we needed (extended family of 15, ages 2 to 75). Great play areas for kids of all ages, beautiful views of Lone Peak, fantastic kitchen. Saw deer, birds, and foxes from the deck. Only a mile from the ski areas and hiking in Beehive Basin. We'd definitely come back again.
“Comfortable accommodations for large groups with ski-out and cha”

Big Sky Vacation Rentals staff were great - very friendly & professional. They responded quickly to our requests/needs. Bedrooms, baths were well equipped, very clean, comfortable, and large. Common areas were great with plenty of seating for large groups. Kitchen had great appliances and most amenities that large cook-in groups would want. Only downside: pots/pans, plates, etc. were old and worn. We only found 8-9 random wine glasses, for example. The everyday kitchen items looked like something they had picked up at a garage sale. Ski-out was great. Ski-in was challenging, and involved breaking through a tree field and crossing 2 lightly-used roads.
Thank you for your kind comments about our service. We are glad you enjoyed so many of the features of this house. We agree that the space is lovely, well-equipped and comfortable. I appreciate your comments about some of the kitchen items and we strive to keep kitchens organized and well stocked. We will personally evaluate and purchase some new items like a matched set of wine glasses. In a house of this caliber we want the best and we apologize that it seems some items were not of the quality you expected. We know you had a few big powder days which makes the ski in more difficult than when it is slick and groomed. The ski-in/out description on our site is quite accurate and should you choose to stay in this home again we are happy to provide a private shuttle to pick your group up at the end of the day. Again, many thanks for your business and we appreciate you taking the time to give us feedback.

“What a house!”

As a large group of exchange students wanting to ski Big Sky and enjoy Thanksgiving break we stumbled across this amazing vacation rental. The house had everything you could need and more! The agents were very accommodating of our large group and the house had plenty of space so we never felt squished! Some of us were able to ski in and out but the agents offered a complimentary shuttle service to and from the big sky base which worked out perfectly. The only trouble we had was with hot water but that was more due to the fact we were a large group returning from a day on the slopes cold and wanting showers at the same time. Over all we loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone!
Thanks so much for the great feedback! We are happy to say that work to install a second hot water heater was completed this week and now there should be PLENTY of hot water for large groups.

“A great home in a lovely location”

We recently stayed at Charis Lodge and would highly recommend it to others looking for a modern, well-equipped house in a peaceful mountain setting.
We were a group of 10 including 5 teenage children who were never bored, despite being holed up inside for 2 days as a result of an unexpected cold spell with snow. The house was very well equipped - great kitchen appliances for self catering, numerous activities including games, billiard table, black jack table, outdoor spa and mountain bikes.
We loved the close proximity to nature with black bears, moose and elk roaming nearby. Big Sky Vacation rentals were very helpful before arrival, on arrival and during our stay.
Three villages nearby provided plenty of dining options and even a local cinema.
I would recommend this house to any large group planning a vacation to Big Sky.
