Ski Out has a flat section that may challenge very young children or snowboarders.
Ski In: Lower Morningstar to second set of Powder Ridge signs on the left. Follow the signs for cabins numbered 1-22 and follow the access trails back towards the White Otter skier bridge. Cross over the bridge and immediately turn right on the groomed access and ski back under the chair lift. There are signs for cabins 1-7. Recommend taking the steeper route vs. easier route. Powder Ridge #1 is a wonderful place! Great ski access, wonderful cabin with great AV features. It has everything you need to be comfortable skiing, reading and relaxing by a blazing fire. I am sure it has great summer possibilities given the wildlife sighting we have had nearby. Terrific mountain location and vistas!

We have never been to Big Sky, both the accommodation and the skiing exceeded our expectation. The cabin was fully equipped with everything, tp, soaps - dish, washing machine, bathrooms - shampoo/conditioner everything. The kitchen was well stocked. Every detail was thought of. While it is ski-in/ski-out, my husband would say it was more pole-in/pole-out, which is hard for snowboarders. The beauty of the area and the amenities of the cabin were great. The fireplace was a highlight. We would come back for sure!!!

we spent a few days at "Powder Ridge 1" in mid March - the cabin is comfortable and meticulous, nicely located for ski in- ski out, well equipped, and an outdoor hot tub with views of the mountain and several ski runs. Good time to go by the way - still winter, without worries of severe cold!
"it was a sweet property with beautiful views, all the requisite"

Big Sky is a beautiful area that i hope does not get overly discovered. The accomodations were very comfortable and represented a great value. we like to cook and the kitchen was well equipped. there were provisions to pop in our iPod into a good sound system, TVs everywhere, though TV is the last thing that draws our interest out there. The staff, including the owner Kirsten, were incredibly responsive to every need, and returned calls within 5 minutes. Given the reasonable rates for that lovely log house, they appear highly committed to providing high level concierge services, and i have no doubt that i will return multiple times. Read more
