From beginning to end the entire Mountain Home experience was amazing. They send you a welcome packet in print that covers everything from activities to check abd out info. They have a wonderful app that gives you pretty much the same info. They also update your app with messages along the way. Very savvy and cool. We called a few times to arrange a horse ride and discuss some other things. Each time the ladies were so helpful, nice and informative. They never seemed bothered or put out, which was really nice. We stayed at Stagestop, the picutres on the web don't do it justice. The house is a true work of craftsmanship, it's a restored barn but trust me its so much more than that. I really can't explain it you just have to see it fr yourself. On top of that you can see the entire Crazy Mountain range from the back or front yard and from several areas inside the house. It's also very private, you barely here a thing besides the river running behind the house and the wildlife. I could gush more about the entire experience but I don't want to bore everyone. I will leave you with this, if you want a truly amazing southern Monatana experience chose Mountain Home!!!

I have a wonderful story to share on how my husband and I came to stay at
the Stage Stop home. He and I were in Montana in July of this year for his
work. I went out on my own in search of property to buy in Montana. I
for four days . . .Big Sky, Bozeman, Virginia City, Ennis, Gardiner you get
picture. I saw the Crazy Mountains from Livingston and decided to drive
could view the range looking west. I drove north on 191 until I reached the
loop road north of Big Timber. It was the prettiest country I had ever seen -
the Crazies took my breath away. I drove past the Stage Stop and wished
had a for sale sign in the yard and swore to myself that if I could find a
property on this road I would buy it in a heartbeat. I told my husband
the area and that Stage Stop could be rented (which we did for my 50th
birthday in Oct.) It was the best!! The owners thought of everything. The
was so comfortable and thoughtfully designed in an elegant rustic style. We
had a great week and are still looking for our dream property in the same

We had an amazing experience with Mountain Home and look forward to the next time around. Allison Konkel was quick to respond to my emails and made everything so easy for us. Just like we like it! Stage Stop is impeccably clean and decorated in the most adorable way. The property and creek were just what we wanted for our vacation. Everything perfect! And our dogs never wanted to come inside the house...too much fun outside playing in the creek and lawns. They didn't want to leave either. Had there not been other renters coming in, we would have extended our stay a week at least. Oh! And the caretakers of stage stop were fabulous as well. Marybeth went way out of her way to help us with the dogs when we had a day of fishing and wouldn't be back in time to feed them. Words just can't describe the experience. You have to experience Stage Stop to understand.
