Description from the owner
Eagle Nest is a unique gem of a Great Camp nestled in a private, pristine lakefront Adirondack setting. The property extends over 2000 acres encompassing 3 lakes, connected through two channels where beaver, blue heron, eagles and otters are often spotted.
The Main lodge and guest cottage total 15,000 square feet and including 16 guest rooms for a total of 26 guests (10 rooms with 2 beds; 6 singles) all with their own bathroom, and most with their own fireplace and walk-in closets. There are an additional 5 staff bedrooms if needed for an additional max. of 6 people.
The Main lodge features a warm, spacious Classic Great room with huge fireplace, innumerable Adirondack details, custom made furniture, card tables and reading nooks. The birch-bark wrapped dining room has an expandable main dining table to sit 10 – 30 people, as well as a beautiful, covered octagonal porch overlooking the lake, with comfortable sofas for outdoor dining or relaxing. The property is perfect for exploring the outdoors. Whether on the lakes fishing or boating, or swimming or in the woods where miles of marked trails for mountain biking or hiking, or across the fairways of this former 9-hole golf course, guests have the chance to experience life in the Adirondacks in the luxurious exclusivity of their own private estate. There are only four other boat-houses in the four miles Utowana and Eagle Lakes, and these spring-fed lakes boast some of the cleanest, purest water in the Adirondack park.
