The Beach House over Wright's Beach - Oceanfront
The Beach House over Wright's Beach - Oceanfront
We welcome you to enjoy our “Beach House.” Watch the breathtaking views from our oceanfront, mid-century style home. Experience its spaciousness, with vaulted living room ceilings that open to a large loft, all with unobstructed views of the sand and waves of Wrights Beach, and panoramic ocean views, north to south. The bedrooms look out into our fully fenced courtyard.
We are located in the historic Cliff Ave. neighborhood, one of Bodega Bay’s most coveted areas for its spectacular ocean views, friendly fisherman village charm, and eclectic mixture of architecture.
The Beach house is ideally suited for two or three couples, or one or two small families. It is 1600 sq ft., has two bedrooms (King master upstairs, guest room with a king sized bed, and a loft with two twins) and two full bathrooms, each with a shower. Our large ocean view loft provides additional space for spectacular ocean views. Bring your next family reunion or larger celebration to Cliff Ave. - The Beach house can be rented with neighboring houses for that special occasion.
Seven miles north of the town of Bodega Bay, and 5 miles south of Jenner, we are a prime location. Visit the art galleries, antiques shops, and restaurants of the charming villages of Duncans Mills, Guerneville, and Occidental. Visit the award wining wineries of The Russian River Valley (first winery of a tour begins about 40 minutes away). Hike the scenic paths of the area, including Armstrong Grove, home to some of the oldest and tallest sequoias in the world. Our local surfing area is Salmon Creek – Five minutes south of us. There is something for everyone!
The Beach House was built and is owned by the original family. It has the feeling of a home well-loved, filled with heart-warming memories. New carpeting, bedding, fresh paint, and some new furniture are some features that add to its comfort and charm.TripAdvisor property ID 2380917...Read more

The beach house was great for getting away and being right by the ocean. Plenty of room for our family and dogs, easy walking access down to the beach and ocean. We loved sitting and just watching the ocean through the windows and relaxing. There were TVs with Cable - so our son was entertained and plenty of room for our dogs to lay near us. The kitchen had the essentials, plus some extras which made fixing breakfast a breeze. Just a quick drive into town for good food and supplies.

What a fabulous time we had at the Beach House! I am a veteran Bodega stay girl, every year for the last 15 years, strictly a coastal cottage renter. This year I was charged as the leader to find the perfect cottage for a girl's weekend getaway. Its funny, the ladies were a little concerned about the wood paneling style with the interior before they arrived. Once they got there, I explained how many cottages I have stayed at that were styled from the 70's and how it suits the coastal experience from my heart. The remodeled ones are nice, but just not the same. They got it and now they are hooked just like me!
This cottage was actually my favorite of all cottages I have stayed at. Not only for the amazing views, but also the floor plan. We had one of the ladies' husband and son come to join us on New Year's Eve. Upstairs is awesome for kids to play while the grown ups play downstairs, yet the open floor plan provides the ability for us to hear if something goes wrong. Kitchen was amazing for cooking supplies. This home is truly a stone's throw away from the beach too! Truly awesome, and now that my girls are hooked we will be planning an annual getaway for sure!
We were blessed with the best weather as well! New Year's Eve, as the time approached, we were able to lay out in the front yard and look at the stars! Each one of us got to even see a shooting star to wish upon...later found out there was a meteor shower happening that night!
The only improvement I would suggest is a larger deck that would span across the back of the house. I am used to having a large open deck so all of us could sit outside and watch the sunset, or watch as some of the group would be playing down at the beach. Outside of that, keep it all the same, I even love the wood paneling (lol) and my girlfriends that usually go for more modern amenities now appreciate the simplicity of the older style too.

I loved this house for my 6 day reprieve at the coast. The views are amazing, the home is vey clean and comfortable, with a great floor plan. The fireplace was wonderful with lots of wood available to burn. Well equipped kitchen, you don't need to bring anything!! The bonus was the darling private road with wonderful, beach cottages and friendly neighbors. I can't wait to return..this will be my home away from home for sure!!!
