The cottage is in a great location on a very quiet caravan site with lovely views. The accommodation is exceptional and extremely well maintained. I defy anyone not to get a good night's sleep in the amazingly comfortable beds. There are lots of things to do in the area and plenty of good places to eat.

We had a lovely welcome from the owners and especially liked the wine and welshcakes. The cottage was clean and really well maintained, it deserves the 5 stars we have allocated to it. It was in a very beautiful part of the country and we enjoyed staying there very much. Hope to return at some time in the future. I am not really sure how peaceful it is when the caravan site is open but because the season had finished we did not see any other people. The thing we liked best about this site was the comfortable cottage and all the amenities of which there were plenty and the very nice welcome we received. If I was to choose one thing we did not like it would be we did not appreciate how far places were from Bodfari and consequently had to travel quite a distance to see various places of interest. But that was not off-putting.

It was a very pleasant stay. The land lady was very cordial and friendly. Although we reached in the middle of the night we received a warm welcome with a nice welcome letter and welsh tea cakes!
Home was a little smaller than we expected, especially the second bedroom and living area but very well kept. The house is located in a very beautiful and quiet area. We would like to return and perhaps try the caravan park next time.

This cottage comes highly recommended. The situation on the outskirts of a caravan park could have been off putting, but it was so quiet and comfortable that you would not have known there were caravans about. Jan Waterhouse was the perfect owner who went out of her way to see that everything was in order and if there was a problem it was corrected as quickly as possible. The cottage was very comfortable with all the amenities necessary (apart from a freezer) - the bedrooms were great, bathroom and en suite very suitable. All in all a very enjoyable place to stay. There were plenty of places to visit - the coast being close and Snowdonia practically on the doorstep. My husband being from North Wales agrees that this is one of the more beautiful parts of the country (then he is biased!!) and I thoroughly agree with him - despite being disabled I was able to drive around and see all the sights. Can't think of anything negative to say about the place, but am sure everyone who stays at the Station Cottage will have a fantastic holiday.

The cottage, though quite small for 4, was tastfully decorated and furnished. It was ideally situated for a short break, with easy access to many interesting places and beautiful scenery. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming, even providing us with the essential herbs we had left at home for our first evening meal! Kitchen equipment, pans etc were a little sparse but we only had to ask if we needed something and it was provided quickly. This cottage has only been open a short while and the owners were keen to know our opinions so that they could make up and shortcomings.
