“Penthouse” My family stayed at this beautiful penthouse apartment for a ski trip. The penthouse is ideally located to visit the ski resort and took us about 20 minutes. We really liked the ski resort of Sierra Nevada and thought this was a very cost effective way to have a family ski trip. The penthouse was much larger than we expected and the views from the terrace are amazing. There was everything a family would need and we were impressed with the amount of storage/furniture. The penthouse was extremely clean and we received a lovely welcome from the key holder Rosie. Whilst at the penthouse we also visited Nerja, which has a great beach, and even though it was winter it was very pleasant on the coast. We also took the bus to Granada from the village, which was very convenient. We all really enjoyed our holiday in Guejar Sierra and hope to return again soon

“The hidden Spain” Mary and Des could not have been more helpful or hospitable and helped make this holiday one to remember. The house is at the bottom of the village away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and looks down on fields and a small town nestling in the valley, the only noise being crickets chirping in the grass and swallows chasing insects overhead. The guest apartment is comfortable and stylish and completely separate from the main residence apart from a shared porch. It has a large terrace with patio furniture and colourful pots of plants. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to self-cater but there are a number of good eating places and bars in the village for those who don't! The swimming pool is large and deep enough to have an enjoyable swim and is completely private. Valor is a very picturesque village with narrow streets and little traffic. The view from the top of the village is quite spectacular. I most enjoyed the peace and quiet and just watching the world go by.

“Great place for summer holidays in Spain” Appartment booked by family with three teenagers. Great base for various trips in a beautiful part of Spain: Sierra Nevada (e.g. climb to peak Veleta), walking in Natural park, swimming at Camping Las Lomas or at waterpark aquaola in Cenes de la Vega, visit to alhambra/Granada. Big appartment, luxureous kitchen and two bath-rooms, nice terrace (partly covered). Very friendly welcome on first day. Quiet place. Tip: rent a car to get around (Helle Hollis)
