“Absolutely fabulous” Always love our stays at Bwythn Clyd.- Cannot fault this property. We sat outside in November, both at the bungalow and to have lunch at our favourite eating place- the Pilot Boat. What a bonus is that. This property has everything you need to make your stay hasslefree. We are looking forward to our next visit in May. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

“A gem in North Wales!” What a lovely cottage with friendly and gracious hosts, beautiful views and warm and cozy atmosphere! We visited the Royal Oak for two weeks in September to attend the wedding of friends, and my husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. Mrs.Allingham was available to us for questions or concerns and we arrived to a basket of home grown produce and jams left by our hosts. Close to many attractions and nestled in a lovely spot on the coastal path we found it a perfect location to explore North Wales. I would definitely return to the Royal Oak without a doubt!

Why Anglesey?

Anglesey's natural beauty, tranquil setting and varied beaches make this Welsh wonder a fantastic choice when choosing a vacation in the UK. There are many events throughout the year that celebrate local food, music and culture, so despite its peaceful atmosphere there's never a dull moment in Anglesey. And if you fancy learning a new Welsh word, how about Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch? It's the longest place name in Europe (and probably the hardest to say!).

The chocolate-box villages have some beautiful self-catering vacation cottages where you can while away the evening sitting on a pretty patio with a glass of wine. Or how about a family-sized house near the sea with room for everyone? Whatever vacation accommodation you're looking for, there's plenty to choose from in Anglesey.

Wonderful wildlife

A trip to Anglesey wouldn't be complete without a visit to the stunning South Stack Cliffs. Binoculars and telescopes are provided so you can enjoy a close-up view of nesting colonies of seabirds on the cliffside. Look out for guillemots, puffins and razorbills. If you're lucky, you might be able to spot porpoises and dolphins in the sea in the summer months.

The hidden gardens at Plas Cadnant are often described as one of North Wales' best kept secrets and it's easy to see why: stroll through the unique walled garden, explore the secret valley garden with its three waterfalls and river, and walk the beautiful upper woodland garden. Other wildlife-spotting highlights include a walk through the gardens at Plas Newydd and looking out to sea from the South Stack Lighthouse.

Family fun

If you're planning a family vacation in Anglesey, you can look forward to a wealth of things to see and do. Meet the farm animals at Foel Farm park, see a flight of colorful butterflies at Pili Palas nature world or spend the day rockpooling on the beach. There are some fantastic beaches in Anglesey. Benllech beach is perfect for swimming and sea-fishing, and the sandy Newborough beach is unspoiled and has breathtaking sea views.

Felin Farm Cottages, The Cowshed
Lovely clean and comfortable cottage.

My family and I arrived for a three night stay and found the house immaculately clean. My two year old granddaughter wanted to see the animals which was no problem.Brian told us feeding tiime 5 o'clock and to come down then,She was totally delighted. We did not see a lot of Debby or Brian as all we needed was already in the house. We noticed on a review that the floorboards creaked a lot in the bedrooms, yes they do,but that did not in any way spoil our stay.we are hoping to go back in September.Overall a totally lovely cottage with totally hospitable owners. Many thanks to Debby and Brian for letting us stay in a lovely cottage. APARTMENT 2, romantic, with a garden in Rhosneigr, Ref 4091
Apartment 2 Rhosneigr.

Extremely comfortable and well placed apartment. We really enjoyed how quiet and close it was to the coastline. Very good facilities and had a nice presentation and feel about it. We locked ourselves out so ended up meeting the owner who could have not been more friendlier or understanding. We would highly recommendsee more
THE SPINNAKER, coastal, sea views, beach 5 mins walk, stylish accommodation in
Delightful cottage with great views

We had a lovely stay at The Spinnaker it was a beautifully decorated cottage and very practicable, it had everything we needed and was a safe/off the road site for a 3 year old to be outside kicking his ball. It was close to all the amenities and great walking (and scooting distance) to shops, restaurants, beach and play ground. It even had a great stock of toys, books and DVD collection for those rainy days! We would definitely stay again without hesitation.see more

Fantastic Holiday

Lovely house, well presented in a quiet location at the end of a lane. There is a pub at the start of the lane but we never heard any noise from it. A lovely location to explore the surrounding area. … see more
Stick Cottage, Dwyran, Island of Anglesey, sleeps 3
great accomodation, fab location, would recommend! had a lovely relaxed family time and definately will be returning!

The cottage is in an ideal location for exploring all of Anglesey. In my opinion its not far from the nicest part which is Newborough Beach. we spent a lot of time here. Its a lovely walk down to the beach or there is a car park close. Its just £3 to get to it through the National Trust Newborough forest. If I am correct Llandwynn Island is at the end of Newborough beach, fabulous place! then Maltreath Sands joins on, just check the map im not good with geography. Anyway its very easy to get to all parts of Anglesey and wherever you drive to you seem to end up in a beautiful place. Stick Cottage is a lovely cosy place. The combination microwave is adequate and we managed fine with it. We went into Menai to get Chinese and Indian take outs and there is a nice chippy in Newborough itself called The Codmother. There are pubs where you can eat and we went to the co op not too far away. Catherine & Paul are lovely hosts, although we didn't like to bother them too much we knew they were happy to help always if needed. I really enjoyed living here for the week and really appreciated this lovely comfortable cottage and hope to return in the future to explore Anglesey some more more! im sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we did! The location is superb ,and is only a short downhill walk to the beach /Harbour . The Village is small and welcoming with pubs ,shops etc .
