“Amazing Horse Property 10 Min from Beach” I traveled to the Ranch by The Sea with my family. We had a large group with age range from age 5 to 75 years of age. This is the perfect destination for any age. Bob the owner was a terrific host. He showed us everything we needed to know about how to use everything on the property. He also gave us suggestions of restaurants, bars, and best places to go to the beach which was very helpful since we were not familiar with the area. Anything we needed we just had to text or call him and he was available. There is plenty to do on the property no matter what age you are. There are many private rooms with tvs if you are just looking to relax and have some quite time. There are also many common areas to have fun with others to play pool, arcade games, ping pong etc and not disturb anyone else. There is a large patio with a fantastic view overlooking the pool and San Diego. Every evening around sunset you would see hot air balloons in the sky that would take off around Del Mar Race Track. There are also great sunsets to the west that fill the sky with vibrant orange and pink colors that everyone loved! Both the kids and adults loved the pool and hot tub. There is a shallow end and a diving board so a little bit for everyone. There is plenty of seating by the pool to watch the kids or just lounge and kick back and sun tan. If you are a horse lover this property is a must. There are horses on property with a large riding arena. The owner gave both kids and adults very fun and informative riding lessons. He is very knowledgeable about horses and riding. He is fun but informative and safe all at the same time. So whether you are an experienced rider or first timer everyone can have a great time. The house is very large with many different bedrooms. It is great because you can have a large group but everyone can have piece and quite and their own space which we all thought was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the San Diego area. We definitely didn't want to leave and will be coming back soon to do it again.

“Very comfortable stay - enjoyed every moment of it!” Very spacious accommodations. We stayed 2 families with little girls who were very anxious to see Disney World parks. The condo was perfect for our stay, we were just about 20 minutes from Magic Kingdom so we were there in a snap. The resort is beautiful and we can't wait to come back again. There are multiple swimming pools, one close to condo's building, another one - bigger and open until 10 pm - near the club house / reception. Another similar size pool at the restaurant area with little white sand beach, volleyball net and table tennis. Also we enjoyed playing tennis on the real hard court surface near reception, very good quality and with lighting. When you need a day off from visiting parks and all these crowds staying on the resort is the great option. Shopping is very close to the resort - 7 minutes drive to Walmart, so you could get anything you need, open 24 hours. We also recommend buying tickets to all attractions at the Walmart since there is a small discount vs buying at the gates. Overall - great experience, highly recommend to anyone. Will definitely come back again!

“Truly Amazing property!” There are no words to describe how wonderful it was to wake up to the magnificent views at Casa Espanola. The concierge and staff at my vacation Costa Rica were very attentive to all our needs. We were there for my girlfriend's bachelorette party and we were a group of 15! From the beginning, geralyn and Amy did a great job planning out our trip. I was very anxious about how the trip was going to turn out because i had never been to Costa Rica, but they were always so prompt with responding to my emails and executing all that was promised. Geralyn set up all of our excursions ahead of time. She even scheduled massages at the property! You won't want to leave this place! The pictures do not do it justice! It is even more beautiful in person. We posted photos on instagram with the hashtag #casaespanola so that you can see some photos from our experience. There were 4 floors and each had an ocean view! It was refreshing being able to wake up to that every morning! Every day, the cleaning staff came and cleaned up the property thoroughly, so the house was so nice every time we got back from our daily outing. Oh and our private chef, Chef Harold, was amazing!!!! He and his wife are so nice and the food is delicious! They have a menu on site and they will cook anything you request as long as they can get the ingredients. I would recommend Costa Rican cuisine because it is really yummy. All you have to pay for is the cost of food. And it is definitely worth it! The beaches are close by and easy to get to. The cost of transportation is about $1.75 per person each way. We had breakfast at Cafe Milagro. Their food is really good and the coffee drinks are deelish! You must see Manuel Antonio park. It is about a 20 minute stroll through the park where you see cute monkeys and other exotic animals. Once you get to the end of the park, you get to Manuel Antonio beach which is totally worth it! We had a blast. We also went to playa biesanz which is nice and private. Our trip was at the beginning of rainy season (May 28th-June 1st). I was really anxious about the weather because of the weather reports. I will say this: please disregard what you see on your weather app. It said that it was 100% precipitation and that it would be cloudy and raining every day. The weather was amazing pretty much all day. It would get cloudy in the late evening and it did rain a couple nights, but Costa Rica is so amazing that it didn't even bother us. Especially since we stayed at casa Española. I forgot to mention that they even provide you with 2 cell phones in case you need to get in touch with your concierge! How amazing is that? You can use the phone to make any local calls. So after the first couple days, i was able to call my own taxi lol I’m sure some of the other girls will post a review so you can definitely see how happy we were with our experience! Stay here! “Budget friendly, spacious home” We loved staying only a few short miles from Disney in a home that could accommodate our large family. Parking was very tight, but we managed. The home offered plenty towels, bedding, dishes, flatware, etc. for our large crew. I was, however, glad I packed some cookware as it would have taken a much longer time to feed a large group with the small cookware provided. I was impressed with how no one had to take cold showers as the hot water heater was able to keep up with everyone taking showers for church on Sunday morning. The air conditioning worked perfectly & the owner had recently purchased a brand new grill. We did have difficulty getting some of the electric outlets to work and one of the overhead lights did not work at all in one of the bedrooms. There were a few issues with ants and roaches when we first arrived, but we purchased bait plus the exterminator came on her regularly monthly visit while we were there & took care of the issue. I guess the biggest inconvenience was that there were no shelves on the refrigerator door. The house would have been perfect had refrigerator had those shelves or there had been a second refrigerator in the garage/game room. It was inconvenient to have to go grocery shopping every 2-3 days because the refrigerator would not hold enough food for a large group. The washer & dryer, however, were huge & plenty big! There were a few other minor issues, but we decided we would rather live with them than have to stay at the house & wait for the management company to come & deal with them. Overall, I would recommend this home to anyone. The owner is obviously trying to keep the house up.

“Fantastic week in Siesta Key” The townhouse was fantastic and fully equipped with everything we needed for a very comfortable week. The location was outstanding - right across from the beach and the free trolley to the Village stopped right outside. The garage had everything the family needed to take to the beach and we met some lovely people around the pool. Thank you Michelle for your hospitality - we hope to be back soon.

“Excellent and perfect House for vacation.” this was my first experience and was the best, perfect area, all was close in case we need to buy something. The house was full equipped for everything you need and very clean. The state park pass was excellent, with access to a perfect beach. we had a very great and fun time with the family.

“Beautiful Villa!” This is a very late entry and I normally don't write reviews, but this villa in Ko'Olina is simply amazing! My family, including my husband and 2-year-old daughter, along with another couple stayed at David's condo last year and it was more than we could ask for. The place is well kept, clean, and has state of the art utilities. Melissa and David made the booking process easy, and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. Even when the dryer broke at the beginning of our trip, Melissa and David were right on it and sent someone out immediately to fix it (the washer/dryer came in very handy during our vacation). Our favorite part about the villa was definitely the lanai. We woke up every morning and enjoyed the views for hours before even leaving the unit, and we spent every night watching the sunset from the lanai. Pure relaxation! The kitchen was fully stocked so we were able to cook a lot of our meals, which saved us some money. There was even a BBQ by the pool area we used. Very convenient. Lagoon 2, which was where the villa was located, was definitely the best out the 4. Quiet, peaceful, and the water was amazing! The waves were mild and calm. My daughter loved it and even learned how to swim there! I can't say enough about our stay here. We have been to Oahu several times, but staying in Ko'Olina at this condo was definitely the best trip we've had to Oahu! We hope to come back soon.
