“Beautiful Umalas Villias.” This place was beautiful and clean with everything you would want in a well equipped Villa. Chef was amazing. Tried very hard to make sure we were comfortable with our stay. You would definitely need a taxi to head to the beach or to do some shopping. But nothing was too difficult or too far away. I would highly recommend the villas. And hope to come back soon. It was so peaceful. The owner was always ready to answer any questions we had and helped us tremendously. Along with her amazing staff. Which included the driver, security guards, housekeeper and chief.

“Ideal for a family!!” We stayed at Umalas Retreat 2 in August, took advantage of cheap flights from Darwin and there opening special. Our family was not disappointed! Main bedroom extremely spacious, kids rooms well set up and all the amenities that one could ask for. Outside area was good, pool was clean and the kids loved it. Thank you so much to the housekeeper / chef she prepared us local food and we all enjoyed the experience, also thank you to Kay in helping us with the booking and providing us with idea of things to do in the area.

“What a find!” We are just back from Bali and I have to tell everyone about this amazing villa that we feel so lucky to have found. We have stayed in a number of villas in Bali over the years but Umulas Retreat is one of the few villas where the minute you walk in you know have found something special. We travelled with out daughter and the villa is stocked with games/videos/pool toys which meant that we didn't have to think about anything at all (other than working on our tans). The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble, Juwini is not only an amazing chef cooking up a storm at the drop of a hat (we even had a suckling pig one night!) but a fountain of knowledge - is there anything this lady does not know. She made our stay one we will always remember and cherish and we are already planning our next visit. The villa itself is incredible, the decor is stunning (I'm planning on stealing lots of ideas) and is beyond comfortable, the beds are massive king size beds with the best quality bed linen I came across in the three weeks we spent in Bali. We loved walking through the area and discovering an abundance of new cafes's/restaurants that have popped up, but if we wanted to venture into Seminyak it was 5 mins away. We loved our stay and really can't recommend this villa to everyone we speak to.

“Romance and Flowers” A beautiful villa. Away from the busy streets of Sanur but within easy walking distance of the beach, shops and restaurants. This home has everything. A sparkling pool, extremely comfortable sitting areas and bedrooms and wonderful staff. The gardens are amazing and so magical at night. It proved a perfect setting for our daughters boyfriend to propose marriage to her and so will stay in our hearts forever. We really cannot recommend this property enough and Shelley the owner is such a star and was able to help us with our booking. A huge Thankyou to the whole staff, not forgetting Bobby the cute dog who used to curl up on the sofa for a cuddle. We would love to return very soon for another slice of paradise.

“Amazing experience !” My family of 6 spend a most wonderfull holiday in Villa Mandala located in the most beatifully part of Bali which is East Bali. After staying 10 days in Changu before we came to the Villa , this is paradise Talking about luxury...This is it ! The rooms are beautifully decorated and wonderfully comfotable. The 2 swimming pools are just too much !! The one in front of the house next to the dinning room has a most breathtaking view over the strait of Lombok . The staff took very good care of us and produced all kinds of excellent meals from an extensive menu. My 2 sons immediately took there surfboards out and were not seen for hours. We wished we could have stayed longer than the 6 days we had booked. We will be back for sure. !!

“Great place!” We had a great time. We stayed for 1 week and had a relaxing break. The villa had a great deal of space. We liked sitting at the outside table overlooking the pool and garden for breakfast and lounging on the sofas for a movie. Comfortable beds and the sofas encouraged naps on lazy afternoons.The grounds were beautifully kept & we loved the range of flora. The staff were excellent. Yanni took great care of us.

“Does Paradise exist? I would say yes, definitely!!!” I've been all over the word,staying in beautiful hotels and resorts, but this one stands out! I've never experiment such a beauty. All the villas overlook the ocean in a manicured landscape. Every detail has been studied inside and outside those luxurious balinese jewels as well. I spent 6 days there, with no desire to leave the premices, wnating to enjoy every minute of my stay here. “Stunning villa and amazing location make for a great holiday!” The villa is gorgeous with three rooms - 2 of which are expansive master bedrooms with attached bathrooms. We loved the private pool which we could use when we got tired of the hustle and bustle the town. The beach is literally steps away and it's a nice quiet stretch that offers more privacy. Hotels nearby make for nice stops for meals and Seminyak is a 20min drive from the villa. The staff are pleasant even if they didn't cook my scrambled eggs the way i like them but overall it's been a wonderful experience!

“Wonderful experience” We had a wonderful week here, Detu (our butler) looked after every need for us, meals that we had here were superb. “Delightful serenity” I was there in July. When I awoke my first morning at Bungadesa Villa, I felt that I was in the presence of elegance and serenity I had always craved in my life. Everything is perfect and refined into details here. It is located in the most desirable area of the city far from the noise just with Mother Nature and the ocean. Only two steps away from the beach and 10mn away by cab from the vivid Seminyak. The staffs are so cheerful that they make you feel part of the family. The cook Nana is accomplished and makes you eat more that you would wish with a big smile. All her food is very fresh and her dishes are delicious and tasty. No fat, only fruits, plenty of fruits, veggies, fish or meat according to your request. In addition, the staffs are all but smile like the owner, Corinne. They are just the mirror of happiness and serenity. I very much recommend the heavenly destination.

“Villa Amaya” We arrived to Bali as a group of ten, aged 12 to, well shall we say late 20s :-). A well planned and organised holiday was interrupted by flight cancellations due to Volcanic ash and cancellation of accommodation pre-booked months in advance. I stumbled across Villa Amaya and Villa Mona by a random Google search at Melbourne airport 30 minutes prior to departure and rang the contact number provided to organise last minute accommodation. On arrival to Bali (at approximately10pm) I received a text from Nathan in response to an earlier missed call. Following a short conversation we were on our way to Villa Mona, beautiful property outside Seminyak, where we spent a night. We then moved to Villa Amaya, where we spent 5 days. The staff at Villa Amaya were kind, helpful, welcoming and made us feel right at home. Kadet and Nathan were available at any time of the day and night (Yep! demanding guests, I know, but they didn’t mind being disturbed :-) , whether the request was to sort out the WiFi issue or something more urgent. Villa Amaya property is located close to everything Seminyak has to offer including the local beach. If you chose to stay here I can assure you that you will not regret it. :-) Jelena

“Villa in the countryside opposite beach surrounded by local dwel” The villa was well equipped with a pool in a private small garden next door to fisherman s shacks surrounded by local people's chickens,ducks, cockerels and dogs. The path along the beach front is just a few feet away from the villa windows and people walk along there frequently so it didn't feel private in the house but you can close the curtains. Although it states there is satellite tv it only has Indonesian TV and no programmes in English which wasn't what we expected as when satellite tv is advertised it gives the impression of many channels. There are many Dvds but we're not really interested in films. The staff are very helpful and the night watchman sits outside for a time in the 'beach house' which is a covered area with table and chairs on the right of this photo outside the villa gate and is not joined onto the villa as the impression given by the photo. The villa itself is L shaped with 2 bedrooms in a separate part not joined together and accessible only from the garden.We were woken up every night by dogs and cockerels as they have access all around and on the beach. The villa is a good price for the size but about 8Kms from Lovina so not part of Lovina at all.The instructions we were given for the entrance by the beach weren't updated so we went along this extremely narrow path in front of the fishermen s shacks and then couldn't turn around as the layout had been changed so had to reverse back again to go to another way in, on a small road that led to another parking area on the other side of the villa. Most people we know would probably not stay here because of the noise from animals at night because it was like being in the middle of a farmyard! Unless that it what you want from a holiday. After all it is asia! We never swam in the sea as it was very rough and it wasn't the lovely beach location we were expecting.

“Outstanding accessibility in a beautiful home with staff that tr” coordinate events like in house BBQ, massage and booked reservations for dinner and Bali access travel to airport included with 7 night stay. Across the street to the beach in 10 minute push with shopping and restaurants options all close by including Starbucks. Staff were so helpful and morning breakfast flexible to match energy. Bathroom was wonderful for easy showering.
