“The Cottage at West 1077 = August 2013” We have stayed in Bandera almost every year since 1997 and this accomodation was by far the best we've ever experienced. A delightful, beautifully appointed cottage in the edge of the Hill Country State Natural area and just a short drive from the centre of 'The Cowboy Capital of the World'. The cottage boasts two bedrooms, a lovely bathroom, spacious lounge and even a well appointed kitchenette. The icing on the cake was the lovely porch complete with rocking chairs and table and chairs, perfect for watching the local wildlife and the sun set over the Hill Country. The owners, Mr & Mrs Kirchner, were really friendly, attentive and couldn't do enough for us. They ensured the cottage was topped up with fresh towels and made sure that our stay was as perfect as possible. All in all, we say without hesitation that we have found our Bandera 'home from home' and will visit again (and again)whenever we can. Thank you Mr & Mrs Kirchner, for letting us stay at your wonderful cottage!

“Great place to stay!” My husband and I have been visiting Bandera for many years and by far Hill Country Hide-away is the best place to stay. We are repeat guests and absolutely love this charming home. It is convenient to town and yet we feel like we are away from it all. Since discovering this jewel of a place we can't think of staying anywhere else. It is spotless, well equipped with all the amenities we need and more, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. I look forward to relaxing on the front porch which has wonderful views and surrounded by wildlife and my husband looks forward to the fishing in the nearby creek. Simply put...we love this place.

“Spectacular views of a charming valley!” We were very impressed with the scenery surrounding the cabin. Just a step outside on the hillside porch to view the pretty valley below. We were excited to see turkeys and a jackrabbit just a short distance away and we actually enjoyed watching the thunderstorm in the distance! The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Judi is a pleasant person who makes you feel like an old friend! We would love to stay here again!
